Dev from Braid remaster board said they are considering delisting this original version. What are your thoughts?

I was deluded by news claiming that this game got a remastered update and it is free. I bought the game a while ago, and now I am surprised that the remaster version is coming out and not a free update. Why do I have to buy the game twice !!!

If you can't offer a discount any longer, please consider cutting the base price. It will help boost some final sales towards dedicated collectors at the very least. Why didn't you announce the remaster on the original braid's announcement board? I didn't know about the remaster until I saw it on some other website. If you announce it, all the owners of Braid will be notified in their "what's new" section at the top of the library. Aren't the original braid owners the more likely potential customers? Should probably do that now if you can, even after delisting it....
