A beautiful, sad, wonderful visual novel. The 1st story is the main story + it's quite short, and the 2nd story is a prequel around 3x the length of the 1st story. There is a bonus message that is set immediately after the main story. A tale of hospitals, hospice care, terminal illness, and taking control of your own life.

I'd say the main message is:
'We only have one life, so we must make the most of it, no matter how long or short you have left'

At first, I was a little annoyed that I couldn’t properly fullscreen the game, but I fixed that with Borderless Gaming, so no big deal there. My bigger issue is that I wish there were more images. The visuals felt a bit sparse, but honestly, the story more than made up for it.

And wow, that story. It’s so sad, but so good. I found myself wishing there were other ways the story could go—not because it needs to change, but because I loved the characters so much that I just wanted more time with them. I wanted to see them in more wholesome, happy moments because the sadness really hits hard.

I loved these characters enough that I’m actually hesitant to dive into the second game, though I plan to play it soon enough. If it’s anything like the first, it'll be good.
