Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug where certain Chinese font characters were missing
Fixed a bug where you could use the Kinetic Hand in the Outpost
Fixed a bug where sometimes the cursor would not be visible when trading with an NPC while using a controller
Fixed a bug where pausing the game during the tutorial would sometimes deactivate the wrong objects

Today is the day! Blood Running is officially out of early access! The game will be on sale with a 10% discount for two weeks and will increase in price afterward.

Blood Running is a stylish extraction shooter where you'll enter the cyber-wasteland, fight off creatures and bandits, loot valuable gear, and venture into the remnants of a world in ruins.

With a randomly generated world, no two runs will be the same. Explore the maps, each with unique locations featuring constantly changing environments, randomized loot locations, and layouts. Explore Outpost 072 and embark on various quests that take you through the world. Daily quests and bounties keep the game fresh, with new challenges each day. With over 230 unique items to collect, you can craft new items, upgrade your base, and trade with merchants.

Crash on Launch Fix - EA 0.6.2

Fixing Crash on Launch

Unfortunately, this is a bug with Steam and my game engine when using certain controllers, so I have no control over fixing the issue.

If updating to v0.6.2 does not fix the crash on launch bug, follow the steps below:

Fix #1: Disable Steam Input

Right-click the game inside your Steam library
Click on the "Controller" options
Select "Disable Steam Input"

Fix #2: Unplug Controllers

If Fix #1 doesn't work, you can still play the game properly by unplugging all controllers.

Minimap Update

The minimap now shows fog of war for unexplored areas and reveals buildings as you explore.

Map beacon colours have also been updated.
