Silent Depth 2: Pacific is a lite sub-sim. You enter the Silent Service at the command of a Gato class submarine on War Patrols during World War 2. How long will you survive, and ultimately how much tonnage you sink is down to skill and cunning.

Hello Commanders,

We have a new update for you, along with some intel on some of the improvements on the horizon.

Improvements:

Updates System UI ultra wide side panels.

Features:

New Menu UI System.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed: Ships escaping during combat even though they are in range.
Fixed: Various Typos.
Fixed: System Page UI Ultra Wide Resolution.
Fixed: Torpedoes not reloading randomly.

What's coming next?

The team has been working on improving various things such as hunting down some illusive sea bugs causing chaos in the pacific. Also the team has been making adjustments across the game's current features in preparation for the new content.

Additionally the new visual overhaul to lighting and weather has been taking great leaps and bounds and is just over the horizon! Take a look at some sneak peaks at what is coming next.

We appreciate all the support for Silent Depth 2 so far, and we are soon setting sail for the next stage of this mission! Happy hunting!

I want to support every ww2 submarine game out there. But This game looked like a mobile phone game. It has no gameplay options. The submarine got stuck on land 10 sek after starting. I dont think this game is what people are hoping for. Not even close. Remember the criteria for refund. Less then two hours played and less then 14 days after you payed for it....

If You're into serious sub games... RUN AWAY

I was hoping that this game would be like Silent Hunter 4, Pacific. For one; There simply is no instructions. I tried to use the map, and since there is no manual, I found that every time I clicked on the map, my Sub seemed to be traveling at high speed in a straight line through whatever was in between,,,like islands, other ships. I really don't care about the money that much, but I expected a more detailed Sim coming from STEAM. This Sim is bait and some kind of Rip Off, there is nothing in this that is...

Made the mistake of visiting the Microprose discord to get help on an in-game technical issue.
Just ate a 24 ban on their (Microprose) Discord for speculating about Sea Power's price from some mod dude called Pepe Silvia, well, dog, tell you what, if I can't get tech support then I'll just issue a refund and avoid Microprose games entirely in the future.

More like an arcade game than a sim but entertaining nonetheless. As it's early access I expect the game play to improve over time, especially with respect to other crew members and technical equipment. A good start which should get better.

Since WHEN is a Gato-class sub the same size as a T2 Oil Tanker? Either this tanker is waaay too small, or this sub is waaay too large.

How To Take Better Screenshots.

Press the "V" key to hide the UI User Interface. Use F8 to enter into Free-Cam mode and "WASD QE" to move about. The "Shift" key will move the camera faster.

I'm in a battle, firing torpedo's, 6 at once to destroy a Carrier, at first thay load i hit othter targets, torpedobay's are empty, i have 6 left in storage but thay are not loading, no matter how long i wait, anyone an idea why?

Understand that if you are wanting realism in a sub sim, this is not the game for you. It is meant for the casual gamer. And it is early access, so it is NOT a finished product. That said - I think this game has potential. *IF* the developers listen to input and continually improve it.
