The shadow + sword combo makes the game trivial, in my opinion. The shadow gets the immediate attention of all enemies and it usually lasts long enough you can just spawn another one right after she dies... And the sword one-shots most enemies (some times, it can one-shot the entire screen if you find the right angle), it has insane range and even a generous hitbox, and it even kills even bosses in a few strikes. Once I found the combo (works even better with the hourglass item) the game felt like a speed...

Overall I'm thoroughly enjoying the game! Combat is fast and fluid combining everything I enjoyed about Huuma Mina and Cindrella escape 2. However,after being put in bondage I found myself "stuck" with no option to switch back to Widow's primary axe weapon. Mashed all the buttons and looked through the menu but to no avail. Any help will be appreciated. Sorry for being a "noob". lol....
