An incredible anti-grav racer that takes heavy inspiration from the F-Zero series (while adding it's own twist). The controls are precise and responsive, track and environment design is top-notch, the visuals are beautiful, the music is superb, there's a surprising amount of lore, and the sense of speed is perfect.

With 8 GPs to beat and 4 difficulty modes (with a bonus "special" difficulty option for true speed-demons), this title already has plenty of content, and with it being Early Access, we also have a Story Mode to look forward to instead of just the Arcade mode (though that in of itself is fantastic).

My only gripe is that I feel that the Nomad training grounds should be optional. having to grind through thirty-something time-trial challenges in order to unlock a few things is annoying when the main draw is the actual racing.

To any fans of the WipEout or F-Zero series, as well as any other anti-grav racer, this game is a must-buy! If you're coming into this having played either of those, I'd recommend quickly getting used to the controls in time-trial mode and hopping into "intense" difficulty or higher, "normal" difficulty is extremely easy for those who are accustomed to the sub-genre.

any fan of fzero gx that has been asking nintendont for a new fzero game since 2004 should without a doubt get this game, its a blast to play. did everything the game has to offer currently and waiting for new updates.
