It's not easy for me to enjoy a game with turn-based combat, so it's no surprise this game couldn't do it—it's a style that doesn't really appeal to me. However, it was somewhat close to it, so that's a plus.

That aside, I do recommend it if you enjoy retro games with turn-based combat. The story and characters are not particularly interesting, but the visuals have a charm to them, and you'll have to be strategic with your actions or you'll be punished.
