I know it's been a minute since this game was released but I am trying to solve the Hiring of the Blind Mice. My arrest warrant is stopped because I do not have a good enough "Complicity Motive" to link Button Bundt to the case. I have: - Gotten the clue in Scratch's safe - Gotten the clue near the blind mice's lair - Gotten the clue in the Ossified Egg safe - Gotten the clue in Hi-Table Gum factory near the cats at the water cooler - Gotten the clue from Mazuma's shop What am I missing here? So, every time I play, I get a little farther but eventually my game freezes. This time I think it was because I did something out of order? I went exploring down the alley past the Ossified Egg to talk to the alley cats instead of immediately backtracking to the construction site (which is where I froze last time), and I froze while talking to the first cat in the trashcan alley. So the game is playable but in some places (especially inside buildings) it makes my computer do a weird and continuous noise (I think it might be comming from the hard drive but I'm not sure) and when it does said noise it sometimes crashes the game and steam. I'm running on Windows 7 and, except my hard drive, all of my hardware is new....
