Does it teach chess?

Am I right in assuming this does nothing to teach you chess and possibly confuse me even more? I know the basics but really want to learn in a fun way. If this game is it, it would be an instant buy. If not, any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I watched a gothamchess tutorial on how to play chess just for this game, and i really loved it! It's like unironically great, whenever the dealer cheats you just go "hey, mf, what the hell are you doing??" Plus rules are pretty stupid, but not bad-stupid, which is also cool

Is this game better with or without spoilers

I haven't bought it yet, but saw it on a YouTube play-through - or at least a partial play-through I didn't watch long enough. Seems like the start of the game is pretty bad, forcing you to play to largely no-win game because you don't know the rules of the game the troll acting like a butt taunting you from breaking rules it hasn't even shown you. But if a new player reads these discussions and/or guides and/or more videos will they miss the most fun of the game and then there isn't much more? In oth...

Is the juggler achievement currently bugged? I feel like I should've gotten it about 4 times now but it just doesn't trigger? Are there some strange interactions between it and the revenge cheat mechanic? Does "same piece" refer to a piece type or a specific one on the board (can I move a light squared bishop directly after the dark squared one)? I'm aware that the goblin will have a voice line if you mess up, but it needs some moves with adhering to the challange's rules, how many moves does it require?...

Rule 05 - What's it specifically mean?

"Pawns are actually a metaphor for the invisible worker trolls." Does this mean that the troll is allowed to jump any pawns he pleases? Or is it something else?
