The game concept seems interesting at first, but quickly becomes monotonous. You're given the illusion of being able to play different builds, but you play the same build every time, with little variation. There's no incentive to play a new round. It's basically the same every time.

This is a tenative YES.... mostly because its not a bad game just. Its kinda fun, just more of my contiunal frustrations with card based games so alot of this review will be my rants and complaints about the game and card based RPGs in general.

Card Base Game: - Dragon With Huge claws, dying on a raid because I needed one hand to hit, but kept getting a handful of curse and inhale cards.

Me: Dragon why can't you bit it?
Dragon: Their are no Bite attack Cards
Me: Why can't you slash it with your claws?
Dragon: I did not have a Card in my Deck to allow me to claw the opponents.
Me: Why in the Heck, do you an attack Card to something as Natural as Breathing..
Dragon: Well I do have an Inhale and Exhale Card...
Me: So if stop playing Inhale and Exhale Cards you will drop dead cause your not breathing?
Dragon: .......

Secondly: For being called a "Boss" the Dragon is the weakest creature on this planet. His only strength is his massive HP pool.

Me: How come your base Melee attack only does like 400 Damage
Dragon: But I get to hit an entire two Rows of Creatures
Me: Some of the Melee Heroes, get to hit you, all the Dragon Whelps on the Screen just because the Attack is Called AOE, even if it a Hammer they are weilding.
Dragon: But I can get an ability, that every Forth Melee attack can hit everything on the sceen.
Me: Provided, you get the attack Cards, and not a whole bunch of Inhale Cards, and only see the Exhale Cards the next turn.... I still don't even know how we are talking... I have not seen a Talk Card yet.

This should be a great game once its finished.
I really hope they remove the compulsory cards. It just makes card stack decks feel like the only way to play on harder difficulties, and in doing so it makes the cards themselves completely irrelevant since you just want as much cards as possible to get guaranteed rage and high damage then game is click and win.

Also, I very much hope that they make the dragon types work with the existing content, or otherwise alot of abilities and things will need to get complete overhaul for balance.
The red dragon should be more fire based and start on stage 3, but gain 200 life every time a fire card is cast, instead of getting bonus HP.
The black dragons rage ability should get the exhale bonus, and have the per curse attack bonus built-in.
The yellow dragon should have a vacuum on inhales and start with a melee range only breath. This dragon should be the one to get the extra HP.
The blue dragon should have knockback on exhale cards and have a rage ability that spawns some tornados and then randomly spawns fire or earth on each tornado afterwards.
Reseting and making it so that you have to defeat a dragon to unlock it would be so good.

I am hoping that they do an expansion after release. Add some stuff to the game that requires some work, but would give more depth. Things that the game doesn't need but would be nice, so are ideal for a paid expansion. For example;
- Expanding the Dragon whelp component to include types and be able to have as plebs like in Heroes of Might and Magic games.
- Upgrade lair to have changeable components in it for each slot, with more objects that can be unlocked and so that all of the placeable objects have minor bonuses (Such as +10 starting gold, +100 starting life, +10 Whelp attack, +100 whelp life, +10% to ultimate cards or stuff like that.)
