Meta Quest 3S Support
The Meta Quest 3S headset has been added to the list of supported devices.
Enhanced Help and Documentation
- Context-Sensitive Help: Integrated help links and buttons directly within the user interface to provide context-sensitive guidance.
- Improved accessibility of documentation via the Help button across multiple screens.
Real-Time MP4 Output Viewing
- Converted output files in MP4 format can now be viewed progressively during the conversion process.
- This feature complements existing support for being able to view MKV output files during conversion.
Early Conversion Completion
- A new "Finish" button allows users to terminate conversions partway through while finalising the partially converted video file.
- Enables faster workflows for users satisfied with the early stages of the conversion.
Expanded Error Messaging
- Additional error messages detect and guide resolution for more potential system configuration issues.
- Enhanced troubleshooting feedback for GPU driver updates and missing tool dependencies.

Important User Guidance

Support Channels: If encountering issues, please use Discord[discord.com] or email for assistance. The vast majority of issues encountered by users are system configuration specific rather than with the Stream to 3D tool itself.
System Configuration Checklist:
- Ensure your GPU driver is up to date. Conversion and streaming via FFMPeg may fail if your GPU driver is not up to date.
- Watch for conflicts with previously installed software, such as:
- MPC-HC plugins (as part of the K-Lite Codec Pack)
- AviSynth+ libraries
- If tool dependencies are accidentally removed, they can be re-installed by following the guidance available in the documentation here:

Can I use this to watch any 2D file I download in 3D?

I used to have a TV that could convert anything I watched to 3D on the fly. Been looking for software that can do that. Is this it? How well does it work? EDIT: For instance, if I were to stream a video that my friends and I were watching in VR, would it be able to display the video in 3D SBS or OU as we were watching it, without taking the time to convert it? Or say I DL'd a sporting event to watch alone. Could I put on my VR headset and watch it in 3D without conversion? How good is the quality of on...

Release 4.1 - Further 3D Depth Effect Enhancements

Release 4.1 further extends the 3D capabilities of Stream to 3D, supporting fine grained tuning. This update directly enhances the depth of the 3D produced, by allowing tuning of the Temporal Depth Offset. A sweet spot appears to be using a Temporal Depth Offset of 1.25 frames instead of 1 Frame (as was the fixed interval in previous releases of Stream to 3D). The Configuration Wizard provides suitable high level options. The enhannced technique invokes frame rate interpolation to enable the approach. This release also fixes an issue with the "Auto" mode of the Configuration Wizard, related to the correct reloading of settings.

Install Issue

I screwed up the configurations. I uninstalled it from steam, restarted the PC. I reinstalled it and now the media player is missing. How can I fix this? I really liked it but am unable to reinstall it to the original install.

right eye is rendering purple

I have no idea what is happening now. It was rendering just fine. until I reinstalled windows 11 now it renders the right eye keeps flickering purple. Can anyone please help?
