So I have been playing for a few months and did another ascension today ending up with a total of ~5300. Considering I need 100k to unlock the first new difficulty (and reward!) mode I'm not sure I'm doing things right. I took me over 6 months since my first ascension to get where I'm now. At that rate it will take me more than 2 years to get 100k... How do you earn ascension? I mean the points to destribute to the upgrades? Cause I spent all my points and just have 2.4 x Ascension bonus but no points? Do i need to make more ascensions?

Hi all, my equipment is at 20,19,19. That is about two thirds of max. So i think i should be able to defeat at least the first loyalist. But he one-hit-kills my hero so fast that i not even can see how he looks. Could someone tell me, at what equpiment-level the loayalists are beatable? Aside from Gems, once you can 1 shot enemies, is there any point into increasing anything but gold? It seems like you should only try to climb higher by adding to HP when you're about ready to prestige. This would be different if higher level monsters gave you more gold or materials. Does anyone know if that's the case?...
