thanks for all the replies - yeah steam doesn't give a royalshit about the refunds of something so old... despite the fact it screwed my "compatible" system when attempting to install... Consumer beware I guess - buy from something other than Steam. this game is like 10+ years old yet its still available to buy on the steam store, most of the later need for speed games are being removed from steam due to end of licence but this game is not. how long is the cars licencing contract agreement last? 20 years? 50?...

Am I the only one struggling on car duel races? In normal modes like drift, time attacks or every single one i'm pulling up a strong gap while leaving spaces for AI, meanwhile in car duel races - AI is just going rubberband mode and i lose MASSIVE SECONDS on a single corner.
