I was pleasantly surprised. This is a neat little game. I played with a controller and had no problems. The game just feels good to play and I like the art style. I'll pick this up for sure on release. Kind of surprised there isn't more buzz on this one....

Demo hang

First mission, the demo hung before drawing the third upgrade. I was getting to the first blob objective, got a third upgrade, and it showed two upgrade cards and froze before drawing a third card. Had to alt-f4 it. Restarting put me back before the tutorial instead of the mission screen or an in-mission save, so I just exited....

Had a lot of fun with the demo, hopefully there will be an option for customize controls, both keyboard, mouse an controller at launch. Some things I saw, maybe some of this issues are a thing of the early game but in any case: - It feels like the super refills a little too too quick, making the game unnecessarily easy - It feels like you have to reload too often. Maybe more ammo and longer reload time feels better - Pickups like coins need to be more visible, maybe some short of animation or blinking, th...

We need more indie games like this. If you're expecting another autoLaim, VS carbon copy walking simulator that plays itself, this definitely ain't it. This one's for the OG gamers who like to participate in the action. Very fun, cool art style, and will def buy this day 1. Negatives are that the demo is too short and upgrades are limited. I also couldn't tell if the upgrades during the round all remained with you or not throughout the run. It felt like some wore off while others ...
