Freedom Planet is a fantastic game. If you’re a fan of classic Sonic games like me, then you’ll definitely also enjoy this game as well.

I love this game, and I am very bad at this game. I never played Sonic growing up, but the characters are adorable and remind me so much of 90s cartoons. The inter-stage cutscenes are basically chunks of a movie with great pacing and voice acting, but you can just play the stages if you want to. The speedrunning is sublime, but you can explore the stages for lots of bonuses. They even put in a mah-jong tile match game! I don't know if it does anything, but it's there.

If I can beat this game, I will be getting the sequel. If I can get the speedrun achievement, it will feel like Ive truly improved at action games.
