any advice for chaunter?

every time i think i have it figured out i die to something i could not have expected. i keep getting closer as i can semi consistently reach zone 4 but the lack of good bodies to use makes it practically impossible. so how do i actually play as this guy?...

I keep losing progress since 4.0

It happens randomly but it just happened for the 3rd time. There's no crash and everything seems normal but the game just starts over with the opening video and all game progress reset. I had complete runs for about a dozen characters and had just made the first 2 zones with Hatsune. Quit for dinner, came back and restarted Steam and the game and everything was back to square one :( \ Help?...

Anyway to disable miku's con?

Not gonna lie i got this game just for the miku dlc and i really find it annoying to have to perfectly execute every beat otherwise i just end up losing too much hp. It would be fine if some of the songs didn't have off beat notes or just went silent making it impossible to tell audibly when to move. Regardless though im new and i dont want to deal with really hard mechanics right off the bat. I hope there is some alternative i can use while still using miku and her music because i figure many other people...

What I've figured out from trying her out: - 8-directional movement - Starts with Leek, other weapons don't spawn - Leek moves in a straight line through enemies and lands on the first open space past them, dealing damage to everyone in the line - Damage is 1, but increases on each turn you attack consecutively up to 4 - Has Sing instead of bombs - Whenever you perform a 4-hit Leek combo, gains another charge of Sing What I'm a bit shaky on: - Takes damage when not moving. this game is deceptively hard; the difficulty ranges from "your first win will take you 24 hours of practice" to arguably the hardest game ever made; i would say don't go into this game expecting to be able to play the more difficult modes/characters & it's worth considering 100% achievements is locked behind ridiculously hard challenges that most people will never even be able to unlock

even still, if you put in the time to learn it you'll be delighted; it's very satisfying and nuanced in an intuitive way, everything comes together perfectly for a very solid game; and you'll feel really accomplished when you make good plays. it's definitely worth it, especially if you're willing to pick up the DLCs.
