Based off the movie?

So dont know a lot about this game. Was thinking it was a jump off from the movie REC that later got picked up in the US and re-released as quarantine. I think im way off here. I see the game is only like 2 bucks so thinking not that long / good? Worth the buy? For 2 bucks cant go wrong i guess right.. LOL...
