Hey everyone! We’re excited to share with you all that Concord is live and available now worldwide on PC. So, grab your crew and queue up to take down your rivals, earn cosmetics, and explore the Concord Galaxy. To celebrate this moment, we’re thrilled to debut our brand-new launch gameplay trailer.

Launch is just the first step, and now that Concord is live, your adventure is just beginning! During our first week and every week after, we’ll be premiering our weekly cinematic vignettes in-game. These brief cinematics expand upon the characters and the universe of Concord. We can’t wait for you to learn more about the Crew of the North Star, their journey, and of course their tidy ship in the coming weeks.


As you start your adventure in Concord, you’ll be able to begin expanding your character roster with the first unlockable Variant for Teo—a former elite soldier turned Freegunner on the Northstar crew. Like all Variants in Concord, this unlockable Variant of Teo will grant you a new cosmetic Outfit for Teo and a unique Combat Trait that modifies his skills and abilities—in this case, giving you extra grenades to deploy in combat. You can use them to clear out areas on the map for your team, or to just make fights a little chaotic. You can expect us to introduce a new Variant every week for you to earn and add to your collection.

Continuing to grow and evolve Concord with our community as we release regular and Seasonal content updates is such an important part of this journey. We poured through all your comments after our beta last month, including your questions about solo modes, leaver penalties, join-in-progress, and more—and we’re excited to share that many of your frequently requested features are available for launch.

With the release of the game today, you’ll be able to learn about some of our Freegunners and game mechanics in-game with a solo Training Mode, as well as special Time Trials. We also heard your suggestions during the beta about having a way to test out Freegunners, their weapons, and their abilities before heading into a match, so based on your feedback, we’re launching with a brand-new Practice Range feature based on your feedback. The team has also made several changes to make Crew Bonuses more apparent during character selection and in Crew Builder based on your feedback.

The lore of the broader Concord Galaxy, the Freegunners, and what awaits you in the Wilds will also expand with the debut of the Galactic Guide—an interactive map that will unlock new lore entries as you play and progress in the game. We can’t wait for you to learn more about the universe, worlds, and characters of Concord.

Ensuring teams are complete is crucial in a multiplayer experience. Following the beta, we’re thrilled to say that backfilling, join-in-progress, and leaver penalties are live in Concord with this week’s launch and will help incentivize players to start—and stay in—complete teams. This is just the start of our updates and refinement of the social experience, and we can’t wait to share more with you in the coming weeks and months.

Before we head out into the Concord Galaxy with you, we wanted to thank all of you who have been part of the journey to this point, from Concord’s announcement and the jiggle burger teaser to beta and now launch. • Matchmaking bug fix

• Solo Play Training progression fix

• There was a chance that you would not be able to exit that state when cancelling matchmaking. This has now been addressed, and you should be able to cancel matchmaking normally.
  
• We also addressed an issue impacting visibility of the first player body under some circumstances.

• Fixed an issue in training where players could not progress past the Teo section under certain circumstances.

• Players should now be able to cancel matchmaking without getting stuck.

• There is a known issue that occurs when you restart the client, and you may need to re-equip your customizations. Your customizations have not been lost. This is currently under investigation for a fix.

We're excited to share that we've just added a new mode to our lineup starting NOW, and running throughout the rest of Open Beta: "Signal Chase."

Signal Chase will be available on both Bone Mines and Water Hazard maps, and you can queue up for it in our "takeover" playlist.

Signal Chase description: "We've identified a Guild relay signal we have to track. Follow the signal and capture and defend each zone from the rival crew."

Concord’s Early Access Beta is almost here! All of us at Firewalk are so excited to finally be able to welcome you all into the Concord galaxy. We can’t wait to hear who your new mains and favorite Freegunners are, or what combos and strats will cook up as you build your crew. Most importantly we can’t wait to queue up and play right alongside you!

Before we head into both our Early Access and Open Beta weekends, we wanted to share some more important information with you like, when you can pre-download, when the servers go live, some goodies you can earn from participating, and more. So, let’s dive in!


The Concord Beta Early Access weekend on PS5 and PC will begin tomorrow, Friday, July 12, at 10am PDT. If you are playing on a PS5, you can pre-download the Concord Beta starting today, Thursday, July 11 at 10 am PDT.

Pre-ordering any edition of Concord will grant you access to the Beta Early Access weekend, as well as four extra codes you can share with friends so you can squad up with your own crew and take on rival crews together. Your extra codes will be for the same platform you pre-ordered on.

Our Open Beta will begin next week, from Thursday, July 18, at 10am PDT, Through Sunday, July 21. You will also be able to pre-download on PS5 starting Wednesday, July 17 at 10 AM PDT.


During the Early Access and Open Beta, all 16 of our launch Freegunners will be unlocked and available to play and customize. Whether you want to snipe from afar, lock down an area, provide support for your teammates, or... just dive head-first into the fight, our roster of Freegunners has something for everyone. It’s been a minute since we’ve checked in with the Freegunners of the North Star, so we’ll also be sharing our first Vignette during our Early Access Beta and can’t wait for you to learn more about the crew and their tidy ship.

We will have three modes, Clash Point, Trophy Hunt and Cargo Run, available to play during the Beta Early Access weekend. It was important to us when developing Concord to make sure we had modes for everyone, so whether you are looking to queue up for a quick round of Trophy Hunt or want to prove you and your crew have the best strats to retrieve Blue Buddy in Cargo Run, there's something for everyone. There will also be four maps you’ll get to explore and play on: Freewater, Star Chamber, Water Hazard, and Shock Risk.

Once we head into our Open Beta next weekend, we’ll also add a new mode, Area Control, and new map, Bone Mines. Check out the original announcement of the beta to learn a little bit more about each of the maps and modes available during our Beta weekends.


If you plan on joining us for both Early Access and Open Beta, your progress will carry over between the weekends. However, please keep in mind that your progress from either Beta will not carry over to our official launch on August 23.

Life as a Freegunner is all about taking high-stakes jobs with your crew and reaping the rewards, so as a thank you, you’ll receive a few goodies for just participating: a Frog Weapon Charm (Frog, stands for “From Orbit to Ground”, and is the name of the Northstar’s drop ship, not a literal frog, everyone’s favorite amphibian), a Star Flare Icon and Business Card.



The Concord Beta Early Access weekend and Open Beta weekend will support cross-play so you can play with your friends across both PS5 and PC. For players on PC, we’re excited to share the system specifications and just some of the supported features for the Concord Beta on PC:

Early Access Beta is almost here... are you ready? Check out the PC Specs required for the Beta below:

The Concord Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Northstar Freegunner’s cosmetic pack, which grants you 16 Northstar-themed Freegunner outfits —one for each of the 16 playable Freegunners available at launch. Additionally, the Concord Digital Deluxe Edition includes early access to Concord. The Digital Deluxe Edition unlocks on Tuesday, August 20, 2024—three days before the game’s global launch on August 23, 2024. Exact unlock time will be announced prior to launch.

When you pre-purchase any version of Concord, you’ll receive access for yourself and four invites for the Concord Beta Early Access weekend this July. Additionally, you will receive the Monarch Pack** cosmetic items when Concord launches in August. The Monarch pack includes the Monarch Frontliner outfit for Vale and Dead Reckoner weapon skins for her sniper rifle and side-arm.

Concord will have a pre-launch beta for PS5 and PC in July, including Beta Early Access available to pre-purchasers and an Open Beta weekend available to everyone.

After pre-purchasing the game on Steam, you’ll find the Concord Beta within your Steam Library. Once added, you will be able share your four additional Beta invites to friends directly through Steam.

1. After you receive the Beta in your Library you can send the four additional Beta invites to your friends on Steam. Your additional beta invites will be available in your Steam Inventory, which you can find here: https://steamproxy.net/my/inventory#753_1 or by selecting “Inventory” from the drop-down under your user name in the Steam client.
   
2. Once the Concord Beta begins for pre-purchase customers and recipients of those gift copies, it will automatically become playable in your Steam Library.
   
3. Once the Open Beta begins, you can opt-in via the main store page. If you already had access to the Beta via a pre-purchase or a gift access, you do not need to opt-in.

The Concord Beta Early Access weekend and Open Beta will launch in July. Exact dates will be announced prior to the beta’s launch.

All pre-purchase and Digital Deluxe Edition cosmetics will be available in-game at launch.

Upgrading from a pre-purchase of the Concord Standard Digital Edition to the Concord Digital Deluxe Edition is not available at this time.

Concord will feature a suite of accessibility features at launch, inclusive of configurable settings for video, audio, control, gameplay, interface, and more. Check back to see the full list of supported features.

An account for PlayStation Network is required to play Concord on PC. Concord features seamless cross-play and cross-progression between PlayStation®5 consoles and PC, allowing you to team up with friends, enjoy all of your progress and unlocked content, and access PlayStation features – like Trophies and your PlayStation Friends list – regardless of what platform you play on.
