Hi everyone,

As promised, myPOPGOES has been reprogrammed from the ground up. We have fixed bugs, improved performance, improved QOL in tons of ways, and also introduced some brand new features.

I really hope you enjoy this new version of the game. We will be listening to feedback, but as soon as we know the game is in a state we're super comfortable with, we'll be moving on to stuff like ports!

An update to myPOPGOES is out... rejoice!

myPOPGOES has been updated on Steam with a few important changes. This is not the reprogrammed version of the game. I'll tell you what is included!

Additions:
- Very subtle hints have been added to the game to help with naturally discovering the secret ending.

Bug fixes:
- If the game recognises that you've completed a level (with a star or in-game achievement) but you didn't get an achievement on Steam... it will now be granted on Steam when you boot the game up! We've tested this with some of YOUR save files, and it has worked so far. Let me know if this works for you guys!
- Wrongfish will no longer sometimes spawn perfectly on top of a Rightfish (which would make it impossible to clear the current level) in Fishing.
- The bar used to represent the pizza expiration in the Expiring Pizzas challenge is now more visually reliable (it would previously pause for too long on the final frame).
- The Character Bios menu no longer bugs out when you toggle zoom (no more random Spanish, or faint spoilers...).
- Some menus have been reworked to load faster or fix minor visual errors.

Balance changes:
- Topping Juggle now gives points when you trash utensils.
- The pizzas in Expiring Pizzas now expire at a slightly slower rate.
- Endless mode thresholds have been lowered from 7pm, 8pm, and 9pm... to 6:45pm, 7:30pm, and 8:15pm. This is a temporary adjustment and we plan on implementing a better approach in the reprogrammed version of the game. But please feel free to give this mode another go if you found the original version too frustrating - it is not cheating! Previous high scores remain, so if you hit 9pm you can still brag about it.

That's it at the moment! I know there are other issues that people are running into, but a lot of those things (like the game simply not acknowledging that you've beaten a level at all) may need to wait until the full reprogram of the game (which we are making progress on). If you run into NEW major issues in this build, let us know and we will prioritise them.

If this update fixes the issues that you have with the game, I'd really appreciate you leaving a review that reflects that on Steam. But it's up to you, and we do have more work to sort out! Thanks for your patience.

A huge thank you to the myPOPGOES players who have taken the time to give their compliments, feedback, and bug reports so far.

Most players have (thankfully) been able to experience the game as intended (though with some complaints about difficulty/balance). However, some unfortunate players have experienced bugs that have prevented them from unlocking certain items or achievements, or in super rare cases caused them to unlock something huge that they weren't supposed to!

The game is genuinely quite unstable behind the scenes. This is mostly due to content being "patched onto" the project over time, especially considering it was originally released, as finished, in 2023. It has become spaghettified over time, with 3 things breaking every time 1 thing is fixed. A mess.

Though plenty of people are fairly happy with the state of the game, I am not. I am organising a full reprogram of myPOPGOES, from scratch. I will not give many details about this yet, but I am aiming for it to be complete this month. With all assets ready, a completed game, and hindsight on our side... we should be able to make a perfect version of the game fairly quickly. A version that is more reliable, understandable, fast, and easier to tweak for other updates like balance changes (which are planned, so please keep giving your feedback and ideas for the things you find too difficult/easy!).

In the meantime, we will continue to patch the current version to fix game-breaking bugs and easier fixes. You can continue playing it, and I sincerely hope you enjoy it. But some complaints might only be fixed in the reprogrammed version that comes out later on. Thank you all for your patience - I'm very sorry that any of this even needs to be a conversation but I want to be mature enough to admit when things need to be reevaluated.

I will eventually make a list of planned changes/improvements for the reprogrammed game, but for now I'd like you guys to check this list of objective errors and let me know if there are any I have missed. Hey everyone!

myPOPGOES is now available to purchase! It's $3.99 for the duration of the FNAF anniversary event, then it'll be $4.99 just like POPGOES Arcade.

I'm very proud of the content we've made for this game. It's a casual, cute, mysterious, weird little experience. It's a gift from me to the fans who love the characters and lore of POPGOES.

I do want to remind you guys that this game will not be flawless on launch. There are some technical errors we are aware of, and are still working on amending. To our knowledge all gameplay is accessible and should play without major hitches, but there are some bugs relating to menus, save states, UI, maybe achievements, things like that. For most people, and for most of the game, it will be fine. But if you run into any problems just know that we are here, and we won't abandon the project. I promise it will eventually be perfect, and I'm sorry I can't say it already is.

Shit happens - we did our best. Just keep us posted on any feedback you have, and please try to be patient and forgiving when the game is out. I seriously haven't had any proper sleep in days, and I am kind of terrified. Lol.

This is still a huge and positive moment for FNAF. It is an honour to have a POPGOES entry be a part of such a monumental event in the series' history. Thank you Scott, and thank you to the community who has accepted us as an addition to the franchise. Let's keep going!

The official Five Nights at Freddy's / ScottGames social media account has announced the full lineup of the upcoming 10-year anniversary event happening in August. And the full release of myPOPGOES is Day 1 of the 8-day celebration!

That's right - on top of a demo of THE JOY OF CREATION, the full release of Into the Pit, and plenty other awesome happenings, you'll be able to play the full version of myPOPGOES on August 1st, on the first day of the event!

myPOPGOES will be a paid-for game, and it'll be on Steam (PC) before hitting other platforms. The price, and the time frame of the ports, is yet to be figured out right now. Our priority is getting the game finished and in a great state for PC before anything else.

I do want to temper expectations: Though the full release of myPOPGOES has taken a while to finalise, it won't have been in development for 1.5 years straight. So please don't expect the Steam release to be some massive, sweeping experience that is secretly a horror game or something like that. It is the same myPOPGOES you enjoyed in 2023, but with additional game modes, minigames, collectibles, and lore tidbits. Being a part of this event is quite daunting, as it will definitely bring new eyes to this game, including eyes belonging to people who don't particularly care for these kinds of cute gimmicky spinoffs. But if you accept it for what it is, you should have a good time!
