A pale imitation of both the narrative, and gameplay heights of other Frictional Game titles. And while the concepts themselves may have been interesting enough on their own, they do not fit within the larger style of TDD, and The Bunker imo. (Rebirth I have yet to play)

This should have been a standalone game not named Amnesia, but even then it would not have been a good one. Voice acting and the score are about the only things I can praise, because everything else is sub-par. The enemy designs are not scary, the game is insanely linear even for an already linear game, the story is jumbled and told mostly through notes. The levels blend together after a while in a boring way, and the lighting is weirdly dark, and washed out. Animations are clearly recycled, the enemy AI is inept, encounters are short and lack tension, and the whole game is just boring.

It held my attention for the first 1/3, then it lost me quicker than Mandus lost his children.

Would not recommend.

toto je dobrá hra krátka ale fakt dobrá bola moment kedy som sa zľakol tak že mi sricke do krku skočilo ale aj dojímavé takže si hru určite dakedy zahrajte všetci hovoria že není moc dobrá ale podľa mňa je.

I know I am in the minority, but I enjoy the linear, walking simulator type gameplay much more than that of the other Amnesia titles. The story and its themes are also a lot more interesting to me than those of the other Amnesia games.

I understand that this game and its gameplay was perhaps not what fans of the original Amnesia were expecting, but it sure is exactly the right game for me.
