We just released an update to the demo making further improvements thanks to the feedback and recommendations of the community.

Here are the changes in the most recent demo build:

• CPU-side improvements will mean considerably better performance for some players.

• The knights of the Round Table now start with 2 inspiration points in each of the 4 chivalric virtues - this is true for the demo only, to help showcase the game's features quicker.

• Added a resolution selection screen in the options - we recommend users who don't meet the recommended specifications to stick with 1920x1080.

• Fixed a bug that caused the grimoire wouldn't open when a new game was started right after quitting another one.

First of all, welcome to those who found Legends of the Round Table thanks to the latest Steam Next Fest! It's a pleasure to have you here. If you haven't yet, the demo is more fun than it's ever been, give it a try and be sure to add it to your wishlist!

A common feedback that we've received often was the lack of audio settings to control the volume of the music, narration and so on in the game. Considering how important the music is in Legends of the Round Table, this should have been something that we launched the demo with, but alas!

A wrong is righted and you can now tweak all the various tracks of audio in the game. :) This, of course, is done in the beautiful stained glass effect of the game's main menu.

• The intro with Eleanor's ghost will now be skipped once you have your first save file.

• Fixed a crash when a generic soldier was killed in a Great Battle.

• Fixed a crash when quitting to the menu while a video tutorial was playing.

• Fixed some buggy behavior when overwriting a savefile.

• Fixed a collider bug with Neo's sword.

• Fixed a bug where lieutenants surrendering during Great Battles didn't grant extra Battle Points.

• Fixed an issue where audio sometimes wouldn't play on fresh installs.

Legends of the Round Table is a deep RPG with many mechanics that can come into play during combat and adventures. Whether it's the movement rules, honor system, challenges or any other event that you've experienced during the demo, we heard your feedback that some of these systems can be a little tricky to grasp, so we've added optional in-game tutorials with voice-over explaining how these mechanics work.

• Improved texts relating to auto-combat, including details for the military strategy challenge before entering the auto-combat.

• Changed the effect of Nerys' Sleeve: +1 Grace bonus now replaced by +1 Will.

• Fixed a rare bug where mercy challenges were marked as failed when they were proposed by an enemy.

• Fixed a possible softlock during the portals tutorial.

• Fixed the fatigue tooltip which wrongly indicated that you regained 1 fatigue point per AP instead of the actual 5 fatigue points per AP.

• Fixed the English spelling of the Siege Perilous.

• Fixed a visual bug where the Green Knight's eyes floated during his adventure's prelude.

• Fixed the London merchant giving the wrong reply.

• We've designed an auto-combat system that allows players to delegate tactical decisions to their lieutenants and quickly resolve combats during the Great Battles.
  Auto-combat can't be used in combats with Arthur, or when you're attacking the enemy general.

• We've improved the UI during persuation challenges by improving the visibility of cards and their associated modifiers.
  
• We've also clarified the tooltip for Group Cohesion, better describing its effects.

• Global performance upgrades - we've optimized multiple game systems, helping with game performance accross the board.
  
• Balanced Nero's stats and behavior during combat.
  
• Added swords for characters in the intro and conclusion of the London Tournament adventure.

• Fixed a saving issue in the Green Knight adventure that was causing the introduction to replay after loading an adventure in progress.
