Project Mist Multiplayer and new release window - Q3 2025

Hey everyone,

We’ve got an important update about the Early Access launch of Project Mist. While we were originally aiming to release in May, we’ve decided to delay the launch by a few months.

Our initial plan was to release without multiplayer and introduce it later during Early Access. But after a lot of internal discussion — and listening to your feedback — we’ve decided to hold off and launch with multiplayer right from the start.

It wasn’t an easy call, but we truly believe it's the right one. Multiplayer is a huge part of the Project Mist experience, and launching without it just wouldn’t feel complete. We’d rather take the extra time now than compromise on something this important.

Since the demo launched, we’ve been hard at work making improvements across the board — visuals, performance, AI behavior, combat feel, UI/UX, new bosses, new enemies, new items, mechanics and a ton more. The feedback we received from the demo has been incredibly valuable, and it’s helped us level up the game in ways we’re really excited about.

We know delays are never fun to hear about, but this extra time is going directly into making Project Mist better. We genuinely can’t wait to share the updated version with you and we hope that it’ll be worth the wait.

Project Mist Demo is LIVE!

Dear Players,

We are beyond excited to announce that we have reached a huge milestone:

The Project Mist demo is now live!

First and foremost, we want to thank you for your incredible patience, support, and belief in our journey so far. We are so happy to see that over 72 000 players already wishlisted our game which is way beyond what we have expected! As the demo is now in your hands, we’re eager to see what are your thoughts and feedback!

A few important things to note:

💡 This demo is an alpha build, which means it’s still very much a work-in-progress. Expect a lot of bugs, performance issues, some crashes and temporary solutions scattered throughout the game. These are normal at this stage, but we are committed to improving with your help.

Also please note that we are just a small studio from Poland with only 10 people working on this project but we are dedicated to make it great for you in the next upcoming months!

This is nowhere near ready for a release.

This game is nowhere near ready for a release. Feels very janky and unpolished, and the game draws %75 power from my GPU even at potato settings on 720p. The survival horror atmosphere is simply not there. Sounds are low quality and unfitting. Gameplay is bland. It plays like a cheap AA crossover of half-life and every generic survival crafter game ever made. Ignore me at your own peril, devs. Still wish the best of luck to you....

Key Rebind...

Yeah...so I have found when games don't have keybinding in them to BEGIN with...they take forever to add it and that's a show stopper for me. Sorry, it's really something that should be 'right out of the box'. Too many games out here to basically make it so I immediately uninstall due to being an ESDF player. That's just the way it is - I probably won't even give the game a second chance...got other ones to try.......
