I don't even remember when I bought this game on steam.. must have been a summer sale.. played less than an hour sometime in 2018 and now I decided to try again... the game looks really good for a 2013 game... then suddenly after only 30 minutes of playing the game randomly crashes on the desktop... well, I was joking about "old game problems" until when I played it again, after about 30 minutes, the game crashed again... A quick google revealed that when Online is turned off the game suddenly crashes... Surprise surprise Ubisoft did it again.. Made a good game unplayable.

Game is great i played it when i was a kid.
I wanted to give it a try again for the memories and.... Constant crashes and the game barely launches.
Ubisoft literally says "We are having technical difficulties" (on uplay log in) and it doesn't allow me to play the game.
After trying to fix it, it worked and then again it crashed again, and after crashes ? All settings reset : D

Nice fun game.....absolutely recommend! works fine on steam deck......only issue is I have to sign up every time I get killed....Need to sign in with a keyboard.....

I gave this game dislike not because the gameplay. 2024 and this game still a masterpiece. Ubisoft dont make this kind of game anymore.
So the reason i dislike this cause i dont want u guys buy this and get crashing game every 30 minutes, more than that i cant save my game on cloud, i was played this to chapter 2 and went i getting back after 2 days - the game reset like nothing happend.

the game is way too good. but ubisoft......? this game has to be optimised before playing as it doesn't use the full cpu cores you have to do it manually, follow a tutorial , yeah it crashes (a lot) like every 40-30 mins.and the unnecessary launcher of ubisoft.

more buggy and prone to crashing than New Vegas. probably my least favorite splinter cell game. tons of multiplayer stuff that's now offline and no AI companion to pick up the slack so that content is just gone unless you're playing splinter cell couch co-op. base building your plane is stupid, too many characters, too many personalities, too much pointless time wasting crap where you, a pentagon black budget super spy are buying your own guns and stealth suits. it's just not very good.

Of all the Splinter Cell games on steam, this one, which is also the newest one, crashes the most frequently, and there's no general trigger as to what causes it. I jump through a window? Crash. I turn on nightvision? Crash. I do the basic mechanic of knocking someone out or even pulling a trigger? Crash. What makes it worse, is that it's completely random when it does this. If I hadn't bought these as a bundle at the beginning of the year, I'd want a refund.
