Max will get Mad if you don't join the Wasteland.

Mad Max thrusts players into a post-apocalyptic wasteland where survival depends on ruthless vehicular combat and cunning tactics. With its vast open-world environment and dynamic weather systems, it offers a gritty and immersive experience. The game's emphasis on vehicle customization and exploration adds depth to the gameplay, providing hours of adrenaline-fueled action. Despite some repetitive missions and occasional technical issues, its desolate landscapes and intense car battles make for an engaging adventure. Mad Max is a thrilling journey through a brutal world where every choice counts in the fight for survival.

The battle between cars and convoys is the great highlight of this title. The ground combat is also to some extent satisfactory, especially when unlocked new moves.

To continue some missions of the main story though, you'll need a certain component for your car. Component that is often only unlocked by attacking an enemy oil base or completing side missions, thus creating a sense of repetitiveness. This could be avoided if we're immediately provided the item necessary for progression once completed a mission, just like the Arkham series does.

Mad Max could be even more enjoyable if only focused on the main story. Still, I convincingly give this game a thumbs up. If you have the patience to complete some repetitive side quests, Mad Max is an excellent one.
