a beautiful story worth walking through. There were many times I was afraid I had missed something but they guide you along the path really well. I really appreciated the entire narrative. Thank you for this experience!

The way one is first hooked by curiosity and then by empathy is something else. I loved it.

Gone Home is a fairly short walking simulator with a great atmosphere and attention to detail. You play a girl who is coming home from a long trip and finds the home empty upon her arrival. Your task then is to find out what happened and where everyone is. Throughout the game, you can enjoy good quality voice acting and sound effects combined with alluring visuals that draw you in to the game and make you want to really figure it out.
For me it took 1h 45m to play through the whole thing, reading every note I could find and trying to take in every detail.

Positives:
- Nice voice acting
- Attention to detail
- Great atmosphere

Negatives:
- Difficult to read notes when handwritten (the game doesn't provide a "text-over" for hard to read notes)

It's alright, I thought it was something else but that's what I get for going in blind to the game. Overall not a bad story, but once again not what I was looking for.

This is a fantastic exploration as a house as a repository of the past. I will remember having played this for a long time.
