I have 27 left to find...I'm stumped!

I have found all the cats twice without hints but the achievement is not unlocking for me. anyone know whats wrong or how to fix it?

I was down to 3 cats and for the love of god couldn't find'em when my bf suggested that I should follow meows since they keep on appearing in certain places. They have different volumes as well - indicating that the cat is closer when the sound is louder. Try playing in earphones to hear properly ...

It would be nice if the game remembers the state of all clickable objects on the map, so we don't keep clicking the same items while searching for more kitties.
