Here is the changelist for today - lots of stability issues were fixed thanks to your reports so keep on sending them if you have problems. We hope that by now you noticed that we do pay attention to what you send us.

Hi everybody,

We're still hard at work on finalizing Dragon Commander and here is the result of today's efforts. The leaderboards are now functional but to be in them, you need to actually play a ladder game against another player :) It doesn't automatically refresh yet (i.e. you need to click on the buttons show top and show my position) but that'll be fixed tomorrow. The leaderboards are still in testing and will be cleared once the game launches, but we'll do something special for those who participate during the beta. More on that tomorrow.

- Default resolution should be better detected now
- Fixed problems where game hang at the next dragon loadout screen when a player left during a previous RTS game
- Turn message and timer will no longer overlap
- Added more modifiable keys to the game, more hints and two more input examples during loadingscreens
- Fixed issue where cards were draggable in the card selection window
- Fixed saving of transports in the strategy phase
- Added ELO rating system to leaderboards
- Added more tooltips in the combat UI
- Fixed some animation irregularities for dragons in multiplayer

- UI's on strategy map will close when optional game timer expires

- Terrain texture quality will scale with texture settings now, to give low-end systems some breathing space

Hi Everybody,

We just added advanced multiplayer options which will allow you to change the campaign rules to your liking. Quite a few different gameplay modes are possible now, ranging from very strategic to very fast paced action modes. Let us know which modes you prefer!

We also started introducing ladder features. You can access the ladder modes in the gametype drop down box when creating a lobby. If you play in ladder mode, the game will register your wins and losses and award you a score. This score can then be used to find players of your skill level to play with using the matchmaking system.

Surprise! A new beta update! ;)

We read and heard you regarding the end of battle rules and are working on changing the system, but that's probably only going to be in tomorrow. In the meantime however, here are a couple of sweet changes that increase stability, take care of some long standing requests and in general make your dragon life better. Keep on sending us feedback, it's helping us a lot and hopefully also increasing your fun.

- Added "Show map" button to battle menu
- Fixed shadow artifacts when zoomed out in combat
- Added more information to tooltips in battle menu

- Iron clads can attack sea build sites now
- Double clicking a unit will only select the units of the same type on-screen

A pretty big update today.

- Added combat reserves mechanic: units coming from strategy phase are put in the "reserves" when support is overflowing. These units are build for free and without build-delay in their respective building.
