Hey everyone! We know there has been a bit of radio silence from Merge Conflict regarding bug fixes, performance issues and general updates for Re:Fresh. Today we have some super exciting announcements to share, as well as some more insight into what's been going on here at the studio!


This has been a big dream for the team, and we are excited to confirm that yes, Re:Fresh will be coming to the Switch! The porting process has taken a lot longer than we initially anticipated, but there has been a lot of amazing work done on the game and a bit of new content that we are excited to share with everyone.

While we can't confirm a release date just yet, keep your eyes peeled for some exciting news in the near future ;)



Alongside the Switch launch, Re:Fresh is going to be available in the following languages:

Finally we wanted to once again give a big thanks to people who have supported us thus far and purchased Re:Fresh on Steam. We wouldn't be where we are today without all of your support! That being said....


Our initial plan to fix up some larger bugs in a steam patch quickly turned into a LOT of overall polish, performance improvements, localization support and some new content for the Switch port of the game. We decided it would be best to focus all of our effort on making this the best version of Re:Fresh we possibly could, and will be releasing it as a free, major update for Steam players! While we don't have a release date for the patch yet, we're working hard to make sure the it's finished up as soon as possible and will have more information in the coming months so stay tuned!

Hi everyone! Thanks as always for enjoying Re:Fresh. We wanted to get out a quick update regarding future patches and updates.

We're currently working on a new update to the game, included in which will be several bugfixes for issues currently found in the game. These fixes were originally meant to be released in a separate update, but we decided it would be smoothest to get them out with the new stuff (but we can't reveal what that new stuff is yet don't worry about it shhhhh)

We can't give any more specifics yet, but it won't be too long before we can and hope you look forward to it! Thanks again for your continued support.

Hi everyone! We've been made aware of some critical bugs present in the current patch of the game released earlier today and are temporarily reverting to the previous game version until these issues can be addressed.

We apologize for these bugs and any problems they might have caused with your playthrough of the game. For now, you should be able to play through the game fine with the current version we've reverted back to. Please let us know in the official bug forum if you encounter any new issues!

Hey everyone! We have a patch out today to fix some nasty bugs that have been hanging around.

Changes

• Fixed an issue where some controllers couldn't initiate dialogue with non-critical NPCs
  
• Fixed an issue where the intro stinger for the Mushroom Woods area would repeatedly play when on the border of the area
  
• Adjusted some LOD/culling distances for a better visual experience and so that items could be seen from further away on low graphics settings
  
• Adjusted the collider on one tree object that was making it difficult to move under
  
• Fixed a single solar seedling in the town that was flying all over the place like a lil goober

Hey everyone, we've got another round of bug fixes and polish out right now!

• Fixed a bug where the cosmetics you previously bought wouldn't load back in from a saved game.
  
• Fixed a bug where if you loaded into a saved game where you had already completed Flint's quest and saved in the area where you previously couldn't recharge cells, you wouldn't be able to recharge there again after loading back into the game.
  
• Fixed a bug where the background progress of repairing the Town outside of the main quests wouldn't load back in properly from a saved game.
  
• Fixed some bugged wind turbines in the Cliffs area.
  
• Fixed a detrimental instance of sequence breaking.
  
• Touched up collisions on some objects.
  
• Other various changes to polish.

• Fixed the bug where camera sensitivity would be set extremely low by default on a new save, causing the camera to seem like it wasn't moving
  
• Fixed a bug where a set of stairs would be repaired too early in the progression of fixing the town
  
• Fixed collisions on some objects in the town where they weren't behaving correctly
