I don't know that much about cars. Or at least I did not know almost anything about cars. This game literally taught me within a few weeks enough that I no longer look at cars as spaceships, but actually at least understand something.

Yet another poor console port. While the game loop itself is entertaining, there are just so many limitations that should not exist in a PC game. The tiny areas with load times in between, the lack of freedom - You can't even open the garage shutters to be able to see outside. There are big invisible walls to limit you further in open areas like the scrapyard.

The controls are clunky, both in the interface and in-world. The interface is obviously controller oriented and makes almost zero use of the ~105 keys I have available on PC - except the camera controls, for some reason they are mostly keyboard based (with mouse focusing) and it feels awful, claustrophobic etc.

There are some translation/lazy editing issues such as "Start/Shut the Car" or "Expands your garage by warehouse." - minor but another sign of a lack of care.

The game isn't completely realistic but it obviously does try for realism. Why therefore can I repair an ABS module, a complex electronic (electromechanical?) black box device where you'd never even get a glimpse of repair manuals - but I can't repair a bit of old rusty exhaust pipe with that several-thousand credit welder I just bought? The exhaust would be patched in minutes but the ABS module should be all but opaque to a regular ol' mechanic. What is and isn't repairable seems rather arbitrary and doesn't change as you level.

On top of everything this game really triggers my RSI/carpal tunnel. Of course the mechanics of the game can't help causing this entirely, it's not the game's fault. It would be really easy to add an option turn off the requirement to hold the mouse button so much - technically a cheat in the game's terms but equivalent to colour blind options etc.

TLDR: It's totally playable and worth some time, but this feels like a demo of a game rather than a final product. A final product that has years of pedigree to draw on. A final product with more than just a handful of DLC available, DLC which seems to be mainly just renames/slight reskins. There are certainly other things/studios to spend your money on. I was bored of the entire loop after ~12 hours and all the little issues just made me (more) grumpy.

the game ws fun but kept freezing and there's no auto save. Also, it would be nice if it was multiplayer.
