Patch 1.03 for Offroad Mechanic Simulator: Prologue - First Job

Hi, offroaders,

Over the weekend we deployed another patch for the prologue, which most of you should have already automatically downloaded. Below you will find the patch notes. We have added more tooltips for better clarity of some menus and introduced other minor quality-of-life improvements.

Patch notes for update 1.03

added a tooltip showing the names of additional parts
TAB key icon is shown also on the open task list, so players can always see how to collapse the list
swapped the question mark to Press F1 as an icon next to the hint panel
enlarged the input icons on the driving UI and interaction hints
added a percentage value to part statistics tooltip
removed the Q/E prompt if the tutorial has only one page
moving the cursor to yellow/red (blocked) parts showing interaction hints (focus, tutorial)
added a pop-up when the player is trying to change the drive type when driving
added the next/previous drive in the button description of the driving UI
added the option to swap the hook of the winch to belt/lift while holding it
added a pop-up when a player pulls out the hook of the winch without the belt attached to any tree
fixes to the Chinese language

Patch 1.02 for Offroad Mechanic Simulator: Prologue - First Job

Hi, offroaders,

This week we have brought you more quality-of-life changes with the 1.02 patch. We have tinkered with some visual elements of the game to make them more clear. We also tweaked some minor, but noticeable problems in the gear-switching system. Your game should have already updated itself during the few last days.

Update 1.02 Patch Notes

adjusted the scaling of the email inbox/shop UI for 16:10 resolutions
fixed the unchanging dropdown icon when using filters
fixed the selection issue, which made the selection of the category in the shop not disappear properly (when pressing ESC with a category selected)
fixed the gear reduction if the engine speed is too low
adjusted the gear switching when the car was on D gear (Drive) and stuck in place
removed the blocker occurring when the player entered the modification mode from far away by interacting with a part
improved visibility of arrows pointing out tutorial tasks
improvements to localization (all languages)

50 GB download problem solved for the prologue

We have an update on the download size issue. We have localized the source in the Steam configuration for the game and removed it without a need for patching.

The download size should be always around 8 GB now and should allow everyone to proceed with installing without any issues.

Hi, offroaders,

Hope you're having a lot of fun with the prologue so far. We'd want to inform you that the first patch for the game is available to download now, with fixes for some minor technical issues.

Update 1.01 Patch Notes

Fixed the wrong names of the wheel items in the inventory
Updated completion conditions for the task of finding Mishubi Palermo - driving through the last checkpoint is not mandatory now
Fixed the flickering outline of the tire changer arm
Fixed the collision detection in the tire changer
Fixed the vanishing pallets in the garage
Fixed the UI and tutorial screens scaling for 16:10 resolution
Fixes for the Chinese language
Fixes for the map selection screen

We would also like to inform about a known issue occuring during the download of the prologue.

Sometimes when you try to download the prologue, Steam may inform you that 50 GB of free space is needed on your drive and won't proceed with the installation if you have less space available.

This is a Steam issue, as the game only requires around 8 GB of free space after installation. We are working on resolving it as quickly as possible. We will update you when it's resolved.
