Bug Fixes

- Fixed an issue where the worms would follow the elevator and appear next to the player.

Optimization

- Multiple guns can now be stored in the item box.

- Even if all the clothes in the clothing box have been collected, you will still receive one piece of clothing to put in your backpack.

- When you save the outfit settings, it saves the clothing color palette.
- Hair and makeup are uniform in all scenes.
- Unsaved clothing in the backpack is automatically deposited when using the item box or mirror.
- The mirror in the A2 Security Office is now a wardrobe (first save point).

Known Issues

- Loading a save from a previous version in Story mode may cause unexpected issues. Please start a new game.
- Shadow quality set to "Medium" may cause the lighting to become darker.
- Gamepad still has some issues.

Improvements and Optimizations:

- Fixed the enemy count in the stealth section, they will no longer call for reinforcements.
- In modes other than the hardest, stealth is optional, and you can now grab a bow and arrows early and proceed directly to the assassination stage.(E0 Staff Quarters)
- Removed the two enemies in the Blue Keycard room, triggering the zombie invasion event earlier.
- Adjusted enemy hearing feedback, preventing them from being attracted by player gunfire during combat and attacking en masse.
- Reworked human enemy alertness, they will abandon pursuit after a few seconds if they fail to detect the target.
- Updated the save checkpoint safety detection mechanism, you can save if there are no zombies within 3 meters of you.
- Revised the backpack system, stamina consumption is slightly increased when running, but does not affect item storage. Additionally, increased the initial capacity. (Temporarily lowered this mechanic to implement character attribute enhancements in the future)
- Adjusted the spawn rates of all zombies, optimized the experience, and reduced the appearance rate of Red Crystal zombies.
- Unfixed wandering zombies only appear in difficult and extreme difficulty modes.
- Reduced the attack power and health of Red Crystal zombies by 25%.
- Crawlers will no longer perform jump attacks if there is no height difference.
- Extended the attack intervals of the Bloodworm.
- When the generators are preheating, zombies will enter the control room, but will no longer directly block or reverse the preheating process. Instead, they will slow down the preheating speed.
- On the Easy difficulty, lowered the rotation speed of the fan that requires rolling.
- Removed the leap attack from the Predator and reduced its health.
- Expanded the combat area with the Predator.
- A new hairstyle has been added to Jodi's office mirror.

Bug Fixes:

- Issues with dragging bodies causing rolls and jumps.
- Default dodge and roll direction restored to backward.
- In difficult mode, full health will also be displayed as critically injured after loading a save.
- Issue with save files not generating zombies in cheat mode.
- Zombies without heads cannot be eliminated.
- The final Predator in the A5 rooftop fight will not move in the New Game+.
- The door to the A1 floor passageway will not open after going through the mechanisms in the New Game+.
- The Black Suit is not displayed in the wardrobe.

If you have the Saved Game in the E0 Staff Quarters, you can load it and re-experience the later part of the changes.

I regret to inform you that the release of The Killing Antidote, originally scheduled for October 2, 2024, has been delayed due to the Steam backend review process being in a waiting state. This unforeseen delay unfortunately prevents us from meeting the initial release date.

The next focus is completing the story scenes. The basic structure is already done, and I need to refine it further until it's finished. It will likely take another month or two. I have noticed that time seems to be slipping by rather quickly. It feels like just yesterday I was starting out, and now a month has already passed! But I know some of you might feel that time is dragging on during the wait for the game's release.

Naux has been working on several cutscenes recently, which are quite challenging. He has been persisting despite the difficulties. The use of motion capture equipment has improved our production efficiency. I regret that we did not purchase it sooner. Despite discovering significant accuracy and stability issues with the equipment, which fall far short of the official specifications, we have had to manually correct numerous animations. If possible, I would like to invest in better equipment in the future.

Despite being in Early Access (version 0.5), the current chapter of the story mode should be completed as it offers a complete gameplay experience.

New features added:

- Data recovery: Damaged hard drives can be repaired in the office, recovering some of the data. This is a mini-game.
- Briefcase: A password-protected briefcase containing rewards. Cracking the password requires using a password detector, which is also a mini-game.
- Clothing color adjustment: Option to change the color of clothing.
- Jodi's office upgrade: Jodi's office has been improved.
- Secret cabinet: A new cabinet that Jodi can hide in, especially useful when sneaking around.
- Elevator

I constantly generate new ideas and jot them down in my notebook. I then pick the most suitable ones to develop. The longer-term ones are saved for future versions. In short, The Killing Antidote is not just a cosmetic zombie-shooting game. I hope the game will have rich content and gameplay mechanics.

The next release is expected to take another month or so.
