Who the hell came out with the idea of making a 'A Quiet Place' game where the main character is both pregnant and suffers from chronic Asthma? LMAO

Seriously, I really tried to like this game, but the whole asthma mechanic is annoying as hell.
Other than that, the game is also pretty meh, with nothing really memorable about it; it gets very monotonous, predictable, and boring over time.

I love the movie franchise, but I can't same thing about this game.
I hope they make a better game in the future, because there really is potential.
But this was mostly a wasted opportunity in my opinion.

Not A Bad Choice If You Want Something Light And Short. Pleasant Graphics And A Workable Game Size. The Gameplay Isn’t Super Exciting, But It’s Acceptable. Pick It Up On Sale If You're Curious. Score 7/10.

I really tried to like this game. I've played sneak-around games before. (I LOVED splinter cell.) But this just kept hitting me with more and more reasons to hate it. The story moved incredibly slow. The inner dialog was obnoxious and felt incredibly unnatural. The way she constantly used "I must" in every sentence...ugh. A lot of the alien scenes were super frustrating to get through. It's basically just an asthma simulator, and for some reason the world has left behind SO MANY inhalers just for us. They made up a new alien ability, in the last mile of the game, that just didn't make sense. There were parts of the game that were fun, but I would say about 90% was just a grueling journey so I didn't have to feel guilty about dropping 30 bucks on this.

This game is great. As a fan of the Quiet Place franchise, I loved this.
The atmosphere and sound design of this game is phenomenal.
The creatures, while not entirely scary, always had me on edge and alert.
The gameplay, however controversial this may be given other reviews, was probably my favorite part of the game. The way you had to open doors slowly to be as quiet as possible was amazing, and the use of items like bricks and bottles to distract the creatures was very well done. The ability to switch up your speed between a walk and more of a... creep was a fun feature. And the way that different elements on the floor (like glass, leaves, or sand) would create different noise levels was beautifully implemented.
And the Phonometer was an excellent item, with the way it gave you both your noise and the ambient noise to tell when it's ok to be louder, or when you have to be dead silent.

My only real issue was sometimes the game was a bit frustrating and slightly repetitive, and the fact that the main character would get stressed way too easily, making asthma attacks a little too frequent, especially in areas with little to no inhalers or pills.
But otherwise, 8.5/10 game.
