A new glimpse into the horrors of Total Chaos premiered at The MIX x Kinda Funny Spring Showcase, revealing fresh gameplay and the terrifying depths of Fort Oasis.

Apogee’s Executive Producer, Jeron Moore[x.com], stepped in to discuss the game’s nightmarish design and development.

The horrors of Fort Oasis come alive on July 24, when Total Chaos launches on PC via Steam. A VR edition will be included with the base game, pulling players even deeper into the nightmare.

Why do people insist on making spiderlike enemies?

Just why? Don't you want people to buy your game? Because stuff like this: https://shared.fastly.steamstatic.com/store_item_assets/steam/apps/2208350/ss_d4c1f84006da60e686c90614b423b12e187ab731.jpg?t=1744313807 ...will most likely drive away people with arachnophobia. It doesn't matter what spin you'll make it on, it's a spider and some people just hate those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Will you \ do you have a setting to change these to any other enemy or skip the game part with them? Or are they scattered...

Hey dev, chill out on that FOV.

What on God's Green Earth made you think that ridiculously high FOV was in any way realistic or appropriate? Couldn't stand more than a minute of it before it started making me nauseous and gave me a headache. Had to turn it off.

I like what I saw. Wish I got to mess with a gun (if there is one in the demo, I didn't find it) but great atmosphere and solid mechanics. Some unexpected elements, like madness, which I wonder how deep the mechanic goes. Overall, gameplay felt great and I will keep an eye on this one....

Beat demo, pros and cons list

Lovely sound effects and pretty spooky overall. Graphics are not half bad Feedback when hitting enemies with weapons is nice Controls are snappy and responsive The whole madness thing is cool Crafting system has potential Refreshingly fast paced for what would typically be a slower horror style with this kinda game. Love finding notes and stuff piecing together what is going on. Keep em coming. Cons Hunger meter is just annoying. I think remove it or at least calm it down. You give plenty of food but I wo...
