As a major fan of Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus, I am happy to report that Two Point Museum feels like an incredible step in the right direction. Gameplay elements are really nicely interwoven - the gameplay loop of discover -> display artefact -> get more guests -> unlock new locations -> discover is addictive. It feels like there is almost always something to do: a far cry from earlier games like Two Point Campus, in which I would often find myself building campuses which were brutally efficient - and not very cute or dynamic - and simply leaving them running while I watched YouTube to wait to complete my level missions.

The new leveling system encourages (and even kinda mandates) players to frequently move between realms, especially in the earlier stages (0-15 hrs) - but the game eventually opens up and progress becomes much more player-driven. I find this incredibly satisfying compared to the way Two Point Campus and Hospital play, where you can often find yourself 'powering through' early levels from 1 to 3 stars - when it may be more fun and convenient to just come back later (with more upgrades unlocked!). Encouraging you to move between museums frequently keeps the gameplay consistently fresh! While there are fewer realms in this game, we spend more time building an evolving landscape and interact with a changing environment.

Finally, decorating your environments has always been an almost annoyingly unfun task - spam paintings and plants in a room to get it to level 5, and who cares how ugly it looks? The Big Brother brutalist aesthetic is fun, don't get me wrong - but with a dramatically improved (and gameplay-integrated) decoration system (with multiple themes and upgrade paths) I found myself very motivated to make beautiful museums I sincerely felt proud of.

I would honestly rate this a 9.5 / 10, with points redacted for a repetitive endgame and there being strong bias towards some themes and away from others - I hope you like space and dinosaurs, and I hope you weren't too excited for botany... - but with those minor criticisms aside, I HIGHLY recommend it.
