Just another mobile game port.
UI clutter, popups, excessive gachaing and predatory marketing.
Movement system is alright, but could be significantly better as most other PC games.

A very tiring game.

There's two ways you can get into this game:
1) You freestyle it; do things the way you feel like and take a couple of weeks/months to get to half the power level of players doing end game content.
2) Pull up a 1 hour Youtube guide and follow that guide closely, you'll be at the same level of (1) by the second day.

I choose the second option and by Day 4, I was dreading to log in. That's when I decided that I'd just drop the game if this is going to be the player experience.

The game actually has a nice open world but in most cases you, the player, will be spending most of your time juggling between the dozens of menu to get your things done. There's SO MANY menu related to activities, objectives, quests, etc, etc and all of them boil down to setting all of it and just let your character auto play the game for you, for most part.

The monetization is in your face. Every bit of success you'll have, you'll get a pop up covering the screen offering you $5 to $90 worth of 'micro'transaction to further progress your character or do more things than the F2P peasants.

I got lost in the menu and I discovered at least 3 PAID battlepass and 10+ battlepass-like system for you to log in everyday to progress your account/character(s).

All this would be bearable if there was no constant cash shop pop up throughout every bit of progression you're making and, as a new player, you're gonna constantly progress through things (level, story, monster level, breakthrough level, skill level, acquiring five stars, evolving monsters, etc, etc). Every bit of progression is greeted with a pop up and at the end of the day I had like 8 - 15 of them depending on the day, on timers, for me to grab those "fantastic deals before times run out!!1!".

Maybe this is not the case for long time players, you guys been through it all and now you're barely hitting new milestone, maybe you're gonna say I'm dramatizing reality but go create a new account and see for yourself.

End words: Nice open world with a lot of potential, surprisingly decent boss fights that are not auto. The bads overshadows the few good things the game does.

Super fun game and a good time waster. Played Sky Arena since 2018 and decided to give this one a try. Joined just in time for the Slayers collab and free LD Nat 5 event which gave me a nice little boost. Game can be a bit grindy later on but I don't exactly mind that since you can put the game on repeat battle if you're team is strong enough. This game is also a lot more F2P friendly compared to other "Gacha games". I was able to get pretty far and tons of 5 star monsters without spending any money.

The player base is pretty friendly and I highly recommend joining a guild ASAP to get some extra benefits and potentially some folks to help you out on harder group content for faster progression. Also, prioritize your PVE monsters first, get some dungeons teams that can efficiently farm all content areas. Perna / Argen are great damage dealers and Ariel / Hwahee are god tier supports, viable throughout the entire game. Save your red crystals since dungeon content consumes energy and you will need crystals to do partial energy refills (DO NOT SPEND YOUR CRYSTALS ON SUMMONS YOU GOOBER), I wouldn't refill more than 2 times since after the second refill, the cost goes up and gets ridiculous

All in all, pretty solid game for a F2P MMORPG. Don't let the cash shop intimidate you, most things in there you do NOT need to buy. Maybe the Summoners Pass is a good grab since it can boost your progression for a significantly low cost.
