We were very touched by the fantastic feedback we got from the latest "Trials" update. It seems that players have acquired a taste for taking on the best and most difficult that Strayed Lights can offer.

As part of our update roadmap, we're proud to introduce the next stage of development on Strayed Lights as we introduce the new "Challenge" and "Story" modes.


The Challenge mode pushes players to the limit on their quest for enlightenment, with bosses and enemy encounters given a massively increased challenge, with all-new boss content in the form of new attacks and animations.

Your quest will now be measured in inches, rather than miles -- as the forces of corruption push back against you. For those who craved a true test of their abilities, we invite you to take on Challenge mode, available with today's update!


On the other side of the coin, the world of Strayed Lights is one worth experiencing for itself, whether you're accustomed to fighting for your life or not. While not removing challenge entire, "Story Mode" is a new update for players who want to take in the world around them, rather than contend with danger at every turn.

Hello Everyone!

Over a month has passed since the release of Strayed Lights, and we've been hard at work making post-release adjustment patches and filing down some hard edges.

First of all, we really appreciate the positive feedback and great suggestions we've gotten from players. It's been a huge help in identifying performance issues on launch. From across Discord and social media, players have been supportive along the way.

And second of all, we've been listening closely to critical feedback on the game's difficulty. Of course, everyone has their own preference for difficulty and challenge, but several Strayed Lights players have been calling for some content that can really challenge them.


In the “Trials” mode, players will be challenged to take on the myriad of powerful bosses in Strayed Lights at the apex of their strength and do so without dying. Bosses have all new combos and abilities and push you to the brink. Trials will be available upon completing the game.

We had a blast taking the gloves off with some of our creations, and we're excited to see if players can rise to the challenge!


With “Memories,” players can confront any previously defeated boss, both in their original difficulty and new, unleashed forms. This is available upon beating the any boss and allows the player to revisit any major battle at any time.

A few fights really captivated some players, and we wanted to give them the opportunity to rechallenge them.


We have additional updates planned over the course of the summer to add additional challenge and new ways to experience the game. As always, we'll be excited to share developments as they come closer to fruition.

Years and years of work, sweat, caffeine and stress have poured into creating our studio's first game. And we're proud to present Strayed Lights to the world!

Seek transcendence in a corrupted world. Beginning as only the faintest of lights, you must learn to balance your energy and protect yourself from the shadows that surround you.

Strayed Lights drew inspiration from games that demand fast reflexes and proactive decisionmaking, but we also wanted to create a game that had a deliberate ebb and flow. The result is a uniquely graceful action experience that we feel is wholly unique. Combined with an otherworldly and dreamlike art direction, Strayed Lights was born.

We want to give a huge thanks to friends and family who supported us through development. And we'd like a huge thank you to fans and well-wishers who found us throughout our journey. We're so proud of the game we've created and we can't wait for you to experience it.

Hot off the heels of releasing our demo as part of MIX 2023, we're proud to announce our attendance at the PAX Rising Showcase. We've flown out to Boston as part of the event to show off a new build of the game, including a new boss and an exclusive hands-on demo down at booth #13097.
