It's a licensed game... Had the license for the Winter Olympics in Nagano which in this day and age can no longer be acquired. It even had the NHLPA license that even in today's situation it's difficult to acquire due to many of the players who appeared therein having long been retired (Includin' Wayne and Jagr.....) and that some of the special players aka. legends therein can only have their names and likenesses appear with special licenses that needed to be obtained.
