The game freezes so badly that it's impossible to play. I've set the graphics settings to the absolute minimum, and it still freezes.

Controller/gamepad support?

I didn't see it listed on the Steam profile page. Are there any plans for gamepad support? Playing action adventure games is very strange to me with mouse and keyboard.

I think this game has a lot of promise.

This game has been on my radar for a little bit but i usually don't play early access games. It's clear this game is both coming from an Indie studio and is also not complete. It rather ambitious, going for a 3rd-person medieval inspired action adventure game among the likes of Assassin's Creed and The Witcher. I met the recommended hardware and played on "High" graphics settings and faced very little performance issues even when streaming. The graphics aren't super polished, there are a lot of blurry or just odd looking textures on characters and environments but still very passable. The environments also for the most part felt very full and pretty realistic and looked like steppes of the region. The animations are very rough, a lot of them like horse riding and the ones in some of the cutscenes are pretty stiff and not always fluid. I also played with a combination of the English dub and Turkish dub, don't bother with the English voices at all. It is a much better experience if you just read the subtitles. The sound design in some spots is also questionable at best.

Gameplay-wise it gets a little more dicey. I played on "Medium" difficulty and found that the combat did not feel very rewarding and still needs some work. IDK if i was just bad but it felt impossible to parry the parryable attacks unless you held the button down and almost had to predict they would do one. If you just did it "at the last moment" like the tutorial suggests I just got hit almost all of the time. I felt similarly about the attacks you had to dodge, sometimes it just did not give you enough time to react and the boss fight at the end of Chapter 1 made me feel this especially. Otherwise i just had minor gripes, like for example it would have been nice if the occasional QTE's were different keys. I also think the timed aspects were also pretty interesting.

Otherwise like I said at the beginning, this game does still need a lot of work but the concept is such a good idea. Turkish mythology is not something explored at all in the western world and to experience a little bit of it through this game was very cool. The story beats did feel a little too assassin's creed-y but i'm interested to see where it goes after Chapter 2. I usually come to expect a certain level of polish from the games i engage with, which is usually why I don't play early access games but if you're interested in it, definitely check out what it has so far as long as you keep your expectations in check. Otherwise I would just wait until it's finished.

unstable FPS, weird movement which needs time to get used to or needs fixing (leading your horse is mental torture as the beast keeps dancing around you slowing your movement speed to maybe 1/10 of walking) and unskipable cutscenes with NPCs clipping through objects is the summary of my first 10 minutes in this game. After the first fight with some wolfs (mongrels but you get the picture) their corpses despawned before me being able to loot them all. Cant recomend the game at this point. May come back after full release if most of the issues (performance being the most important) are fixed
