One of THE quintessential childhood games that i couldn't get enough of as a kid back when it was released, and even now as an adult loving every second of it replaying it again to 100% completion because i really do love this goofy ahh collectathon made for children this much. Easily one of Lego's finest outings that you should play if you haven't already espacially if you are obsessed with Batman or collectathon platformers of its genre.

There's a major bug with the RC car not moving in the very first level unless you turn on V-Sync. Once you finally made it past that, it's pretty impossible to beat the boss in level 2. At least fix the game before slapping it on Steam and calling it a day.

So the game is full of bugs tbh, the grafics are good for a 2008 game but, a part from the bug with robin's car (you have to activate vsync to make it work, took me like 30 minute to find out) i rly don't see how i can beat mr Freeze on the second level like, the objects that are supposed to be buildable are not so its pretty much impossible to beat.......

If someone knows how to fix the bug lmk thxxx <3

Great game, but with the announcement of the new Lego Batman: The Dark Knight Legacy, they should add the achievements they had in the game on PS3 and Xbox 360.

I loved this game as a kid, and love it still. there are some issues regarding the steam version of this game though.

1. the game is unstable. the first thing the game did for me was crash the second I put in one input. so I opened the game up again and tried again. and then after a little while of fighting off goons in the Mr. Freeze level it crashed again.
2. The RC car will sometimes detect slopes as walls. the way the RC car appears to work is every few frames, it'll check to see if there is a wall in front of the car, and if there is, then it stops the car. in the first level, there is a little slope that goes under a wall that you're supposed to drive the car under. but for some reason the RC car refuses to either go up the slope to get it where you're supposed to take it, or go back up the slope to bring it back to Robbin. I believe this is because the car is detecting the slope as a wall, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

I wish steam had a middle of the road option for recommending games, because that's where I'd put this. but because I wouldn't recommend this game in the current state it's in, I selected not recommended.

Edit: it appears the game crashing has something to do with throwing the baterang.
Edit 2: the previous idea is not the case, maybe it has to do with calling in certain objects that drop from breaking stuff in the levels (example: the trees that drop the building blocks for Robbin's tech suit)

dont get me wrong this game is absolutely peak and holds up fantastically in gameplay but DAYUM it does NOT work on modern hardware
