This is an open-world zombie survival game set in a quarantined city. You play as a student left behind due to missing the evacuation convoy. Together with classmates and other survivors, you must defend the school, survive, and await rescue.

Expanded the types of supplies that can be found when teammates go out searching; toy cars can now be found (at a low probability, with more item types to be added in the future).
Adjusted the power and firing rate of the flamethrower turret to maintain game balance and make the zombie horde tower defense more challenging.
Removed the screen blur effect when the main character operates the flamethrower turret, enhancing the gameplay experience.
Modified the resurrection logic of the zombie horde during school episodes. More types of zombies have been added, which will vary according to the horde’s level.
Adjusted the item refresh probabilities for some furniture boxes to enhance the diversity and rationality of item spawns.
Added the ability to find pacemakers in hospital medical kits, increasing the variety of items that can be refreshed.
Fixed an issue where the main character could be attacked by spitting zombies while in stealth mode in director mode.
Modified zombie health in normal difficulty to improve balance during supply exploration.
Removed the stun effect of firearms on giant charging zombies to increase the game’s challenge.
Reduced the stopping power of bullets against larger zombies to enhance the intensity of chases.
Fixed an issue where holding the mouse button for a heavy attack and then quickly pressing the left mouse button might sometimes cancel the attack, optimizing the combat experience.

A bunch of newbie questions

I'm around 5 hours in, and have a hand gun and an SMG. 1. Are there valuable NPCs in the college campus like traders, doctors etc. 2. Are traders spawn randomly or in set location? if so where are they? 3. speaking of NPCs I just got the girlfriend is she better than the hirable NPCs who are running around like dumb chicken. 4. Added a feature to display weapon durability bars in teammate inventories and item storage boxes, making it easier to check the durability of teammates’ weapons.
Added functionality to show whether a weapon is non-repairable in item storage boxes and teammate inventories, making it more convenient to see if a weapon can be repaired.
Teammates now have a chance to find skateboards while searching for supplies (with a relatively low probability), further diversifying the types of items that can be found during outings.
More items that can be searched for will be added in future updates (fireworks, remote-controlled cars, ropes, pacemakers, etc.).
Fixed an issue where players could still open the inventory or building interfaces after the character’s death or tower defense failure.
Resolved display issues in the teammate interface when the resolution aspect ratio was not 16:9. It should now display correctly.
Added error message prompts during game loading to help quickly identify problems when errors occur.
Modified the save system to increase save speed (noticeably faster on some computers, especially those with mechanical hard drives).
Introduced randomness to the duration of teammates’ supply searches, making the outings feel more realistic and unpredictable.
Reduced the time required for teammates to search for supplies, speeding up the game’s pacing.
Adjusted the zombie layout in the southeastern corner of the campus and modified the flow of certain exploration missions in that area to increase the challenge.
Increased the maximum limit for the number of stones to prevent issues caused by reaching the limit (such as the appearance of empty items).
Removed unnecessary code, improving game loading speed and optimizing memory and resource usage.

A new feature has been added that allows teammates to automatically search for supplies!

You can press the C key to open the teammate interface and click the “Outing” button on the right side of the teammate list to send a teammate out to automatically search for supplies.
Once the button is clicked, the teammate will go out for a period of time until the progress bar is full. At that point, you can click “Recall” to bring the teammate back along with the found supplies.
You can also recall teammates during their outing, but this will result in no supplies being retrieved (supplies are only available when the progress bar is full).
Teammates sent out for supplies can search for items such as food, materials, melee weapons, firearms, and more (additional item types will be added in future updates).
Press C to manage teammates and send them out to search for supplies via the teammate interface.
Added more types of supplies that can be found during outings, making the variety of items richer and more diverse.

Updated and improved some translations in the teammate interface to ensure more accurate communication of information.

Fixed errors in the code for refreshing supplies, ensuring proper and stable gameplay.

TLDR: Game is not perfect, its essentially a Project Zomboid meets the Last stand (the Adobe flash game) and simplified. Gameplay feels like PZ but with NPCs. Story is fine nothing to right home about. Guns here are better than PZ, sorry PZ gunplay is straight up trash. Overall the game feels like an Flash game made in 2014, but the overall content and mechanics made it feel fresh. If you're on the fence go watch some youtube vids about the game. It's quite cheap and I had 21 hours and I've only scratch the surface. Also the game is being updated like 1-4 times a week (mostly fixes) but some are additions to gameplay so... I've never seen this thus its a huge plus.

Cons:
Games looks and feels like a flash game: maybe its just nostalgia but yeah the graphics and mechanics available makes it feel like an adobe game in 2014
SSD might be required: I tried installing it on my HDD and I'm not alone in this but it requires a day to verify right after downloading it. uninstalling was also a quest on its own and I had to give up and install it on my SSD.
Also game has like a few hundred thousand files (maybe a few millions), I tried to check and after a couple of mins of checking in the games folder properties I just stopped it. so yeah SSD might be required.
Chunkiness: You might get stuck, a few things might not make sense etc etc. A few minor things that doesn't warrant it's own con.

Pros:
A really active Developer: a weekly updates on a solo dev is great but having 1-4 times a week is insane. sure most of it are fixes but come on dudes Gigachad for this.
Story: Story is fine but there are a lot of side stories sure most don't really matter in the main story but it gives life to the game.
Mechanics: there are a lot, crafting, fighting, guns, durability, farming, using a hose to water plants (thank god for this), Friendly non-zombie NPCs, aggressive non-zombie NPCs, tower defense, and looting. There are a lot of mechanics without making it complicated.

Conclusion: The game has depth but is also quite simple. If you want to just play and not worry about much then you will enjoy the game. A small caveat in installation but over all I had lot of fun and I haven't even explored much.

this game has gotten more updates in the span of 2 months than many games get ever. one of the best zombie games i've ever played.

Friendly fire - Impossible to fight zombies together with locals

Is there a setting or something to disable friendly fire? whenever there is a fight and locals join I can not do anything because locals will get hit and will be forever devoted to kill me - this is very stupid. Anyway to disable hitting of allies/neutrals in a fight or any way to calm them down afterwards? Thank you....
