It feels kind of like the reverse version of the board game Clue. Instead of solving a mystery, you deduce who you want to eliminate through clues your pet, disciple, and gossip you hear from other ponies. I'm always learning new things with each playthrough, so the game stays very replayable. It also has a killer soundtrack (which I ended up buying off of Steam as well.) I highly recommend this game!

Thoughts

Has a simple lil gameplay loop, but requires a lot of planning. It can grow repetitive fast, but for someone with ADHD like me, it's easy to stop playing for a little and come back and enjoy it as normal. I also just love murder mysteries. It's all randomly generated so there's not much of an actual story outside the little snippet of starting a new game (and whatever story you choose to make out of your choices and random events)

Even though you're playing as the killer, I like that the game encourages you to keep certain ponies alive for longer and killing in a certain order. Characters like the Disciple and The Reporter are important for information. The mortician that gives you another chance to get cutie marks for your cape. Killing others before the mayor.

To keep you killing though, it implements a sanity system. More killing = more sanity. It's a bunch of information management and keeping an eye on your stats and actually planning who you are going to kill to best optimize your information input.
