Being a game over 12 years old, it might be a bit unfair to post a review, but, honestly, a good game ages well, and graphics are not all it takes to make a good game. This is not a very good game, in the sense that it is way too repetitive (too much grinding) but it is also not a bad game… I only finished the trader campaign and lost interest in the adventurer campaign midway mainly due to the perspective of so many hours grinding my way towards the needed progress. And this sentence summarizes the game: ok fun for 1 run but not much appeal for a replay: the economics are too simplistic, not much town management required, and naval battles are also week. Maybe when multiplayer was bombing there could be a reason for keep playing the game. I would give it a 5/10 and would barely recommend it if you can get this game for a significant discount.

These scammers literally are selling the Gold upgrade when you already own the game for $5 more than the purchase of all individual DLC. Criminal.
