To preface, this game was awful, but it wasn't trying to be good, but it was definantly not worth it's price, even a 20% off sale which it was on. Only buy this game if it is on some crazy deep sale like 80% off or more. So, almost every aspect of this game was pretty bad, the animations were bad, the gun play was strangely made, the scares were cheap, the story was abysmal. every cut scene was just there to make a dirty joke, and the music was out of place. I'll give the game this, it was incredibly funny, if you wan't a quick laugh, and have an excess of funds: buy this game; if you don't, don't buy it.
Also i get that this game is kinda a parody of old 80's slasher/zombie flicks, and it did that pretty well.

To put it simply, this game blows. To give you an idea of the writing, one of the extras you unlock after completing the main game is titled "The Booty Creek Cheek Freak". The humour and dialogue is as weak in this extra as it is in the main game. None of the levels are especially scary, some of the puzzles can be a bit confusing and are pretty bland even for a PSX style game, and the combat is not anything worth mentioning. I was considering 100%ing this, but after forcing myself through the main game, I just can't be bothered.

Even on sale, I just can't recommend this.

A fun game with some extra value after you beat it in the form of 2 other short games. There are a few annoying aspects of this, one of which is needing to holster a weapon to interact with things and the other is wonky hitboxes sometimes getting you killed. But it's generous with checkpoints and these issues are easy to adapt to in the case of raising/holstering the weapon for any silly reason and with the hitbox issue, just make sure you aim for the dead center of the face to ensure it's not a big issue.
