Absolutely cannot recommend this game to anyone. I love Tower Defence game and the first game knocked it out of the park for me! I cannot get past all the gameplay changes. How absolutely extra-ragdoll-y EVERY enemy and even how the AI will walk PAST a trap they are stepping on. Also had it too where the game would trigger a trap and there was no enemy present near or on them. It was so baffling.

Not to mention this game really hones you into getting Skulls. Sure, the first game had this, but you didn't feel constantly under-powered while playing it. So much so that you can barely damage most enemies and headshots barely work until you put more Skulls into it. I was able to get headshot decently in the first game and here I'm somehow missing them even when they're right in front of me.

I really hate the most is how under-powered the traps feel. The last game gave you that accomplishing feeling that you managed to setup an area of death and you won over the map with your own cleverness. This game throws it out of the window and with the MASSIVE-sized levels, barely any money to buy traps and that your traps are immensely ineffective when there's too many enemies at once, it was endless frustrating.

The last game I felt so happy and definitely has some good grit on how to figure out the levels and get some strategy going. I do not want to play this game for any longer than I have. I am 3 hours in and I have lost all patience. And worse is that I barely managed to get enough skulls to unlock or upgrade my weapons. HOPE YOU ENJOY ENDLESS MODE WITH AWFUL TRAPS UNTIL YOU GRIND ENOUGH TO GET MORE SKULLS.

There are some charms to this game, but I cannot being to feel how the game mechanics, the skull system and everything are just so badly done. I think this game was aiming towards you playing with a friend to balance things out, but it did not work for me. Hope it works out better for others.

TLDR : 0/10 - Game looks flashy and charming, but WOW does it get bothersome way too quickly. Stick to the first game and save yourself the money on this junk.
