Intro
Near future, in a remote research facility named HERE, the AI system controlling the facility got infected by a virus called RED, and subsequently went rogue, starting to attack humans. Dr. Liu decides to infiltrate this lost facility on his own to face the AI, uncover the truth, and save humanity.

Near Future Dystopian Sci-Fi

Near Future.

A virus of unknown origin breached the network of an isolated, self-sustained research facility and community named HERE.
Inevitably, the core unit of the highly-advanced AI system that runs the facility got infected.
As a result, those harmless service robots went out of control and started to attack humans.
Dr. Liu, Head of R&D at HERE and one of the architects of the system, decided to go back into this lost facility to search for possible survivors while attempting to identify and fix the underlying issue.

Futuristic Tactical Infiltrate Simulation

A one-man infiltration into an AI-controlled rampart.
Utilize the kaleidoscopic hacking skills the doctor masters to cope with adversaries.
Disable the security system remotely, rewrite IFF IDs, or manipulate rogue AI's behaviour...
Do what you can to avoid any unnecessary encounters.
Make your way in stealthily and neutralize all threats one by one.
Go deep into the heart of the facility to face the core crisis!

Core Crisis, Machine Awakening

"Genie" - those everyday service robots will be your most common opponents.
Each of those service robots has its routine patrol, and the AI system behind their behaviours also coordinates the efforts of those robots to maximize their efficiency.
In addition, the doctor will encounter certain killer robots specially-engineered to neutralize any threats to the core system as he gets deeper into the facility.
Could the infected AI be to blame for everything?
Or perhaps there are additional unidentified reasons lurking somewhere?
All will be eventually revealed along with the doctor's investigation...

Tech-Augmented Hack-and Stealth

Not your traditional protagonist, Dr. Liu, an ordinary researcher who had absolutely zero combat training, will have to infiltrate the facility on his own.
Not a specialist in melee combat, nor a slick gunslinger, the doctor is just an average joe when it comes to "combat".
However, as a tech-savvy researcher, he is able to hack, disrupt, and manipulate all these rogue AIs to guide himself through this dangerous automated facility.
Long-Range Signal Disrupting, Radio & Electromagnetic Jamming, Hologram Illusion, Malware Implant, System Takeover, IFF Spoofing…

Nice demo

Just need more graphic options (and I read there will be more in full game) to make this game look/work good in stable 60FPS. But generally it's the kind of game I like. A bit of stealth, a bit of exploring, collecting data. Keep it live :)

This demo offers you a glimpse into the immersive, tech-augmented stealth gameplay that we are crafting. Step into the shoes of Dr. Thomas Liu for a solo infiltration into a compromised digital fortress controlled by a Rogue AI, with the assistance of his AI companion, 0z. We're excited for you to experience it firsthand!

To ensure you have the best possible experience, here are a few important PSAs:

Currently, the game is fully compatible with most controllers. Keyboard and mouse support is in development and will be ready for the game's final release.

We are thrilled to announce that the first public demo of our highly-anticipated hack-and-stealth game, Evotinction, will be available exclusively on Steam for the upcoming February Next Fest starting Feb 5.

The very first public demo of Evotinction offers players a glimpse into the innovative, tech-augmented stealth gameplay.
*This public demo does not fully support Keyboard+Mouse control, we highly recommend you play with your controller. The Keyboard+Mouse support will be implemented in later version.

The full version of Evotinction is set to release in 2024.

Hello! Liked the demo, didn't completed it because I don't want to much spoil. Controller is required but it's perfectly doable keyboard / mouse and it's great! :) I have some big drop FPS (stutters?) My config : rtx4090, i9 13900kf I liked : - DA - VO - Stealth mechanic - We can upgrade our things to do much more things and it's cool. Hope that go further later in the game. - our character and our friend - It's intriguing and want to know more and that's cool! :) Take your time! x)...

完全无法游玩，第一个任务就卡住了

走完开局过场动画之后的第一个任务（与奥兹交谈）就卡住了走过去之后奥兹问我“博士，你感觉怎么样”，然后人物就无法控制了，也没有任何选项或者操作提示。右下角有一个“按I 过场动画暂停”，我按了之后点击“跳过”也没反应，最后只能Alt+F4强退游戏，连退出按键都没有。任务卡住的截图 https://imgur.com/a/si5662w...
