I got this as part of a bundle from humble bundle so didn't pay full price for it, but I would have been happy paying full price, too. I already own the board game it's based on, and it's a very enjoyable play both digitally and physically. The object is to put pieces of different colors and patterns in specific orders to score points and attract cats to come sleep on your "quilt" (as you're still working on it, of course, because cats gonna cat). Every cat wants different patterns in different numbers or shapes, and which ones they want changes with every game.

In addition to the regular game mechanics, the video game version has a story mode where you wander around a village (full of people but seems to be ruled by cats, so just like real life) and help people improve their own quilts. The story's fairly thin, but cute and fun, and every stage of the story mode is a different challenge that can only be completed one way. Some of the stages are pretty challenging and I'm still working my way through story mode. I've also used the game to play Calico online with friends and relatives in other states, and I've never had any issues with that. Other than my niece kicking my tuchus quite a lot lol. You can use the premade cats or design your own as well.

If you like the board game, or just pattern-building games in general, (and cats) this is a really fun game that should give you a smile.
