It was better during early access when there was an endless mode and the difficulty curve wasn't effing vertical. I just wanted a game where I could fly around and shoot jets for an hour without a huge amount of frustration, and that was taken away with endless and the mission-based system which make the game end after like ten minutes. Also, the insistence on an online leaderboard with no option to NOT use it is annoying.

I bought it May 25, 2023 and for weeks I played it daily, often multiple times With the coming of the mission mode my play time has dropped to almost nothing, only able to stomach one try at the daily mission just because it's technically the longest. Still over in ten to fifteen minutes. because it's just too damn hard for me. Especially considering I only want a casual play rather than super hard mode competitive scoreboard look at my e-peen run.

I was loving this until the changes, so this breaks my heart. Time to start looking for another game that'll just let me be a flying death machine that *doesn't* require five minutes of loading and menus like Project Wingman and Ace Combat 7 do.

I can't bind Yaw, so can't play how I wanted to, to mimic real flight controls on controller, would've really liked this game too. There is only one stick mode that works and I don't want the arcade aiming.

This game is charming, deceptively simple and infinitely replayable because of it's excellent, smooth gameplay. If you're looking for an arcade style dog fighting shooter, this is it. Nice price tag too, considering I'll be sinking a lot of time in in the foreseeable future.
