Endless Replayability Fest demo is over 🥲

Hey there!

We left the demo up for five extra days beyond the end of Endless Replayability Fest, but its time has come to an end. Hope you all had fun with it!

It was a very early peek at the game and there's still lots more to come. We will release a more complete demo of the game in time!

In the meantime, wishlist the game if you enjoyed it. If you want to follow development, play our internal build or share your thoughts with us, then you can join our Discord server[discord.gg] too!

Hope you're enjoying the demo of Enter the Chronosphere! We made some changes to the build. Normally we share these announcements in Discord, but because the demo is live this week we'll do a changelog here.

Version 63 changelog

🗺️ Level Generation
- Updated wall and cladding generation
- Fix possible hang during map generation
- Fixed some issues causing mesh triangulation to break
- Fix incorrect colliders on some columns
- Resolved issue causing invalid map navigation
🖼️ Art
- Added new wall and cladding models
✅ UI
- Version number is now visible on pause screen
- Hide ally/friendly indicator on corpses
- Empowered hits now show a purple damage number
🏓 Gameplay
- Removed Proximity Chainsaw item from Warmonkeys item pool
- Fixed invalid synergy between Killing Time Alpha and Portable Future items
- Revise damage buff algorithm
- Some damage buffs now affect beams, melee and explosions
  - Hyperviolence
  - Empowered

We're excited to announce that we are, for the first time, hosting a demo of Enter the Chronosphere right here on Steam.

The demo is up right now, so give it a shot!

Demo Test

1. To proceed to the game, players must confirm a nag screen twice for entry. 2. Menu seems to work, music can be muted, could use better in-theme graphics 3. Often bullets in vicinity can't be seen, leading to whittle-down/unavoidable damage 4. Warning signs for harmful effects are inconsistent. 5. Gratuitous friendly fire self-damage is the main source of game overs, creating a frustrating and imprecise experience that feels gimmicky. 6. The transparency feature is basic, hindering clear visibility....

Incredible how much the visuals have improved

Watched the first episode of the IGN reality show where your game won. The new art is incredibly striking. Congrats on winning and you definitely put that funding into good use. What a dramatic increase in the visuals.
