Howdy, Outlaws!

We’ve got some exciting updates in store for you today, and a big surprise at the end, so stick around!

First up, we’re introducing four brand new items to Bounty of One that we believe will shake things up and give you more options to interact with the Pierce mechanic.

Here’s a breakdown of what’s new:

• Frozen Bouncy Ball
  Gain 1 bounce for every pierce you have, and gain 1 pierce.
  
• Jackhammer Charges
  Gain 5% damage for every pierce you have, and gain 1 pierce.
  
• Bullet Spear
  Gain 1 dash slot for every pierce you have, and gain 1 pierce.

We noticed a lack of interaction with pierce in the current game, so these items aim to give you more ways to use this underappreciated stat.

Finally, an item returning from the beta that some of you might recognize:

• Reckless Abandon
  When you take damage, reduce your maximum Health by the amount of damage you should have taken and gain +5% damage per max health lost.

This one’s been a long time coming—we weren’t happy with its state during the beta, but after some tuning, it’s ready to go live.

We’ve also made various balancing changes across several other objects in the game. You can find the full details in the patch notes.


And now, for the big news…


In Hive Blight, you’ll lead a team of insect soldiers against a dark menace known as the fungomancer. This new game is a completely fresh adventure from us at OptizOnion, blending auto-battler strategy with the chaotic thrill of roguelite elements. Each playthrough will offer new challenges and paths to explore – recruit, discover synergies, and take on the blight in ways you’ve never seen before!
