I love it. Haven't finished it yet, but I have to say it's already one of my favorite horror games.

Not only does it look amazing - probably one of the best looking games I played, as far as I can remember -, I just enjoy playing it.

I imagine that this might not please audiences looking for cheap scares and who aren't interested in engaging with the story, but other than that I recommend it with no reservations.

Quite ironic, that the games promotes itself with good review scores. The game is an utter walking simulator, which is pretty boring overall. The first chapter was somewhat okay with its story. Everything apart from that just stretches the game for no reason. Its also not scary and the story is pretty unclear in the latter chapters. Kind of a time waste after the first chapter.

Spooky Set of games. yea walking sim but layers of fear 1 and the 3 DLCs for it tell an amazing story and set an atmosphere that really pulls you in. LoF2 however ditches most of the horror aspect to tell a story that even though they say and directly tell you so much more, also don't really say anything at all. Still a good part of the game. Was really upset at the lazy ending of the Writer they just kind of lock her in the lighthouse building and say write more??? How was this a conclusion? maybe i didnt do well enough in all the games to do a true ending not sure but not doin allat.

Overall i got this game on sale for 18 bucks and it was def worth the price, even 30 is fair really you get a full game plus DLC, the sequel and extra content and a free dlc for a low price.

TL;DR -- The value you get out of this game is more than I could ever hope for. Not only are the graphics updated, but there are new game mechanics.

10/10 - the replay value for being a "re-make" of an established game that I played TF out of is astounding.

ALL THE WORDS:
There are new game play elements, new graphics and physics (that snow globe you guys made?... *chef's kiss*), new characters, an over-all new story that ties things far better together, and new pieces of the puzzle to figure out the original stories plus some new lore.

If you loved the first game, you'll adore this. If you didn't like the second game because the story heavily relied on the grasp of Engish pros - then you'll love this. It spells it out for you this time - and you still get all those tasty, tasty collectibles, too.

I enjoy re-makes if they have actual value to them like FF7 Intergrade and Silent Hill 2...and this game has that value AND THEN SOME.

If you look at my history with the first two games - I have MANY hours on them both, and I believe both are to completion....and yet, I still bought this and have found even more joy than I did before.

Super worth the money...especially for the new game mechanics and features. 10/10. It's just as good as the Silent Hill 2 re-make, and I am stunned by its low price point for what you get.

i played the older ones and they are great creepy games. this one is so much better with the way it looks and feels. oled monitor with the HDR on and this game really sets the mood for a eerie and creepy experience.
